Imagine if Ensemble had been allowed to go ahead with AoE4 being WW1 as they depicted back in the day

Still blows my mind that an AoE tournament last month broke records that stood for almost 20 years.
I played some of these games when I was a little kid with my dad and I still play some of them now so seeing this video is really bringing some great memories back
The first strategy game I've ever played and the one that introduces me to Strategy genre, still remember the first time I've played Joan's campaign, damn that's the hardest back then due to Joan must survive quest and I'm suck at escort type quest

Its called age of empires not age of Nations .. also because of how famous and successfully aoe2 they want to make the new game based on the 800-1400 AD era with new mechanics and better graphics and more

i dont know why age of empires 3 is underrated even its unique in every aspect . the story is fantastic graphics visuals are great.

They timeless theme, it a has seen many incarnations in they years and all this from a simple majestic theme on age 1. This was rather cool to see!
