Good info . Price is too high for a small car or hatchback .. it should be around 4 lac .. range can be 150 km
Thanks for the kind words, i agree its a bit high, but that’s the only option we got to save our cars, it doesn’t make any sense to discard a perfectly fine European car, makes more sense if to invest in luxury cars, something above 20 lakh
Are you getting your Punto retrofitted? Arai certificate is required as separate approval is required for every model...i doubt anyone would ever spend 25 lac to get approval for a Punto that is not very common in roads
Oh yeah I'm getting my Punto converted. Swift is the most common car and anyone can tell that they can't be converted, because there won't be much left in the car after 10 years and if we talk about punto or any european car then they're uncommon and worthy of the extention of life. So yes, my punto is getting converted and you can get yours converted too.

@@DieselHead do they have approval for Punto to make it road legal?
My Grande Punto is the first Grande Punto being retrofitted and I'll get my car in a month or so, with all the certifications, green number plate, and other legal formalities. If you want you can pay a visit then and see for yourself and I'll update the same in my upcoming videos too.

8.5 lakh for 300km is not reasonable sir, if it is between 4 to 5 lakh was reasonable because other retrofiting companies providing hybrid or dual fuel starting from Rs 2 lakh as well....
I took it as I won’t have to spend anything for next 10 years on maintenance and fuel. So it doesn’t feels so expensive when I consider that. The other companies providing retrofit are all illegal, you can’t drive them on public roads if you get your car retrofit with their kits. But I understand what you mean.

You missed very important points like
Whats the top speed it will give for example that 300km range kit's topspeed and load carrying capacity
What range it will give in sport mode if it has sport and other drving modes and how much torque it offers does it offers cruise cntrl these are the key points to ask and the Price of kit which claims 300 km range is it same for hatch back , sedans , SUV ?
Yeah thanks for the advice, we actually talked about this and the car would have almost stock specs after retrofit, the range would be same for all the vehicles, but there would be slight variations in the battery packs, contact details are in the description you can talk with their media team directly for further information

I’m also waiting for the car to come back. Unfortunately I don’t have any content related to retrofit process sent by Hawk Ev yet, so I really can’t update anything on this topic until they send something to me. On top of that my car is with them in Bangalore so it’s not possible for me to simply go and shoot some videos. I hope you understand
What is the current status from them ? I heard from Delhi transport govt that till date there is no policy for retrofit to ev. (This was few days back). Although the policy is in draft stage and permission cannot be granted to get car converted. I am curious how can hawk ev get it done ?
Also do they have justification for the 3 month delay?
