@@Thelinenhousemouse-wf8gf You can cut the silicone sheets without the kit. If you are in the UK you can find the kit at A61 Woodseats Sewing Machines or Craft Store Direct. If you are elsewhere in the world try - AllBrands (USA), World Weidner (Canada) or Echidna (Australia). Hope this info helps.

Sadly I don't know of any third party alternatives so you'd need to get the Brother replacements.
