Should have put a baffle inside your catch can between the brothers and lines to catch more oil also an oil drain so you don have to take the can off every time to drain it

I remember the day where everything changed on your channel when Molly appeared. To finally see the swap being done reminded me of how long it really took to get where you are. I remember when you talked about a swap and shown a damaged s2000 with a hint of f20/f22 swap for your miata. It's not only great to finally have the long awaited moment happen but just how beautiful the end result makes this so much better as a long time viewer. Stay who you are and continue creating whatever comes to your mind. I can't expect anything less than amazing after this point of time.

You should look into getting a band saw of some sort if you don't already have one. They come in great handy for precise and clean cuts on metalworking projects!

Check out true focus fab, they make a catch can/overflow tank. They just weld another box onto the catch can for the coolant reservoir. Maybe you could do something like that.

you should add rubber grommets to the brake lines going through the (firewall/cowl wall) just take a grommet, and cut it, fit it around the line, then fit it into the drilled hole. just protect those lines, definitely wouldn't want to lose one of those lines.

i really hope your going to put grommets around the brake lines going through the firewall. if not i'm not going to say a thing when a hole gets rubbed into the lines and you lose brakes. i had it happen to me on a 89 honda civic when i had to redo the rear lines that run through the firewall and the grommets rotted away letting the line rub metal to metal
Technically the catch can can function like the older diesels. Just fi the box with steel wool thatll collect the oil and let it drip to the bottom to go back to the pan. From there, just use a breather tube to vent under the car.
Wow very clean engine build - looks good! I'm a little concerned about how your venting the crankcase since the motor wants to breathe (suck air in from the hot side breather port) then release the pressures on the cold side, but I guess you'll find out. Maybe it doesn't matter with a PVC delete - but there's baffling and channels on the underside of the valve cover to direct air flow.
All that nice work on the brake lines and you didn't install any grommets where they go through the firewall?? You had the perfect opportunity to add them whole as opposed to adding cut ones after the fact.
Looks really good man, one thing- The black intercooler is going to cost you some horsepower. I know you like the way it looks but its going to slow you down a lot.
Turbocharged high compression is a pain in the ass. Im running 13:1 compression (stock skyactive compression) and a turbo in my ND. Tuning is a nightmare.
Fix your tune, dude! Literally turn a laptop on and enable VEAL and make it driveable! Ideally the motor should see RPMs and lots of vacuum almost immediately after first start/warmup/oil drain cycle. Nice work on the car!

The UGREEN USB to RS232 from Amazon works well, you need to install the driver then they always work.
