Now let's move on to the most boring part for everyone who will read this comment, the character interpretation, Obamitsu first ofc. From what I know, the thing that says "Obanai have a ring ready for her when the final battle ended" is actually just a headcannon. Listen, Obanai believe himself to be not worthy of Mitsuri because of his blood that were tainted. He believe himself to not be deserving of Mitsuri's love. He also doesn't see himself in the future without demons, idk what chapter it is in the manga but there is something that says about him dying while fighting Muzan to cleanse that blood of his and if ever they met on another life, that's the time when Obanai would marry Mitsuri. But, when he found out in this video that the final battle ended and thought all of em survived, I make him starting to consider the future, fixing himself to become the best ver. of him so Mitsuri would not find him so difficult to handle. Now moving on to Mitsuri, her backstory is not just simply about finding a husband. I think her character is a symbolism of trying to fit in the society. She change her hair color, try to act weak, and try to find a husband just to fit in, squeeze herself in this forsaken society esp its the Taisho era where sexism and misogynism is all around. So her finding a husband is not all about being a "simp" or for the male gaze (i mean her design is certainly is but that's beside the point) but its actually how a girl who are viewed as different is trying to fit in. Now, Rengoku, we won't be able to see him in the zenitsu training arc but the hashira training arc is definitely... possible, Im going to tweak the timeline watch me. Gyomei, hes just a big big soft guy who wants cats. Nah, but his fatherly instinct is actually so underrated. His relationship with Kanae and Shinobu is so overlooked likeee?? I NEED MORE OF THEM. GIVE THEM ALL TO ME. Now Muichiro, idk he's my son. I actually think that he dont know what to do other than killing demons. He cant find himself after the war or something because thats a child.
