I upgraded to a blue iphone 15 from an iphone 11 and so far im loving it! A majority of the upgrades are quality of life improvements, better battery life, brighter screen, smaller size, usb c, etc. But all of these small things add up to an overall better device. The only part where im disappointed was the lack of high refresh rate :(

I love the 15 Plus. Got mine yesterday after having reviewd it when it was launched. Upgraded from an 11 and it is a huge win in my book

Seriously. Had that brick in my pocket for a few months until I got tired of it. Ended up giving it to my son and went with the regular 14.
@@dwights1024 Thought about that, but it's a heavier phone, no USB-C and the camera science is more to my liking on the 15 series (I tested the 15 plus compared to a 14 Pro of my colleagues) and I tended to like the shots from the 15 a little more, although both are excellent.
Ultimately, it boiled down to USB-C and lighter weight for me, plus the 14 Pro Max new was more expensive

Upgraded from a 12 Pro to the iphone15 and I really love it. I got a clear case for mine and I'm "Team Green". No complaints and this will be my phone for at least the next 3 years. Photos are awesome. 60 hertz is just fine, I don't see a difference and I don't play games on my phone. I didn't go "pro" this time due to the i15 having so many upgrades, it just gave me the most bang for my buck. Also, the screen size for the i15 was the same as my 12 pro and it has a better camera. Perfect time to upgrade as I got a great trade in price on my old phone and my phone bill is increasing only a very small amount per month with the new phone. I think I crushed it! I upgraded from a broken iPhone 12. I wanted to get the 15 plus in the black but the phone store I went to didn’t have a 15 plus or a black 15. So I ended up getting a regular 15 in the blue and I love it. The clear case I have for it makes it so it shows more blue than white. I’m loving that phone.

Got the black 15 today almost got the 14 from the 13 but glad I got it!!

Great Review. It's a tough decision I want to keep my phone as long as possible. The 15 would be great but I think some days I will miss a tele camera like the pro max has

I've had it for over a week and I love it over my Galaxy S24 Ultra
7:08 It’s not the same sensor as 14 Pro. 14 Pro and 15 Pro have the same Sony 9xx sensor and base line 15s have a custom made 48MP sensor that is newer, but smaller in size.
I went from an S22 Ultra to a base green 15 and no more connection issues. From here on out I'm sticking with what works.
hows the screen? its a big jump from 120hz to 60hz. Did that difference bother you?
I went from samsung. Although i do still like samsung, i’m really enjoying the iphone 15.

im considering buying the iphone 15 plus or the 15 since ive had the tecno spark 8 pro, and its horrible but i dont mind using my phone with 2 hands, my phone is already 6.8 inches and battery is important to me, should i get the 15 plus?
Mine freezes up when in the Settings page. It has happened 5x now for unknown reasons on 17.1. I upgraded to 17.1.1 and hopefully it fixes the hanging issue.
USB-C is bringing the capability to use a hard drive or SSD, which is a big plus at least for me

They can put 60hz screens in non pro phones because they can do it and get away with it. They want you to pay more for the pro models and they know they can do it.
For those of us who wish to keep their forward facing cameras and facial recognition sensors covered, having the dynamic island is pretty useless. I’d love to see an SE model based off the iPhone X chassis.

I do believe ip15 is one of the best for its value just lacking on usb speed and screen. I'm using s23 as my daily driver and I wish they release this a bit earlier i would have buy it. Nonetheless good review as usual

first time using the iphone 15 plus, i found that ios is still having bugs, my phone hang for few times so far, the app crashed.
I have a Xiaomi redmi note 10s since 2020 december. I never have before just android but I will buy next week my first iphone. The usb-c why I'm enough brave to switch. I'm really excited to get my new green iphone 15 and I hope I won't regret it!
Why are no you tubers reviewing the fact that if you hold the 15 pro or to max next to a 12-14 AMD turn on the cameras you will have better quality on the older remodels!!

I've watched tons of iphone 15 reviews. No one talks about the front and back camera issues where it post processes the images into dark, blurry and grainy! (the processed image is totally different than what you see on viewfinder) I have iphone mainly for the camera and the image quality the it delivered for the price i paid is so disappointing.

Yeah I would recommend this over the 13, they are very similar but some solid build and camera updates with the 15!

I just upgraded to the regular 15 and I love it. Coming from the 13 mini, it’s taken some time to get used to the size and I still wish it was a little smaller, but overall it’s great. I don’t care at all about 60hz. iPhone screens have always been smooth and I’d much rather have the extra battery life than a higher refresh rate.

Picked up a yellow 15 some days ago, loving the color, MagSafe and battery life.
Sure, I’m sad I don’t have a 3x telephoto (I’m one of those people who prefers telephoto to ultrawide), but considering I upgraded from Xs, I basically didn’t lose the 2x telephoto functionality. And, of course, I would love a 120Hz screen (having had it since 2017 on my iPad Pros), but 15 Pro is too expensive and 13/14 Pro are too ugly (yeah, I hate how square edges make them look and feel), on top of that - they have lightning. Plus, somehow 15 was cheaper than both 13 Pro and 14 Pro (I don’t consider buying used), so it was a no brainier.

@@lamilychee8872 it is, tho. The bezels look thicker even if they are the same size just because of the brick-like design. It’s uncomfortable to hold. It’s heavier. And most importantly it doesn’t have USB C.

I downgraded from 120Hz Android. Overall, my experience has been good. 60Hz on iPhone is smoother than 60Hz on Android.

Im truly debating on wether getting a plus or standard because I feel like I don’t need the stuff the pros offer. The only thing keeping me from deciding is the 6 hour difference in battery life standard and plus have and wether the plus will feel too big in my hands and pocket

The regular iPhone 15 feels minimally wider in my hands when I checked it out in person. The Pro iPhones feels partially small and a tad taller as well. I wonder if you can use a flashdrive to connect to your iPhone and record a video directly into the Flash Drive.

This is a hot take, but I don’t think the 120hz is super necessary on base phones. The majority of users don’t really care about it, and if they do, they’ll probably just spring for a higher model anyway. It’s also a little ahead of its time and kinda gimmicky at the moment. Most if not all games are capped at 60 fps and high refresh rate video on RUclips isn’t a thing yet. I used to have an S21 with the 120hz screen, but had to return it and opted for a 12 mini instead. The 60hz was jarring at first, but I got used to it. No point in really having it just to look at social media or text lol. When 120hz has a real reason to exist besides brand competition, it would probably make more sense for Apple to fully switch to it.

Was only a thing when they first came out, and it was mainly on the pro models. No heating issues at all for me. Hope this helps!

Does anyone have an issue with their iPhone 15 front camera? I upgraded from an iPhone 11 but my mom still has the 11. When I took a picture with the front-facing camera on my 15 and my mom's 11 I was so shocked to find that the 11's quality is SO much better. Does anyone know if this can be fixed with a software update?
I've had this with the iPhone 15 since its release. The front camera photos look different. You can make the contrast a little higher afterwards, then the pictures look better, in my opinion. 😅

I bought the plus version. Overall, my experience has been good. I switched from 120Hz Android so my first day was to adapt with 60Hz. The 60Hz became normal after my 2nd day. 60Hz on an iPhone is not that bad…
