I planted this year in a pot hot peppers named birds eye. I took me one month to germinate after that everything went amazing. One tip. After your plant is a little bit taller cut the head to increase fruit grow production.

I just love having chilli plants in the plastic glass I've done it many times when they grow big I just plant them in bigger pots and sow seeds for next batch the little leaves look very pretty after some days
It really works !!!! I tried at home Over 30 seeds and 5 seeds worked in day 2 and another 7 seeds worked in day 5 and now im getting little green plants I didnt use coconut thing...i used soil
Oh and by the way if you’re growing it then remember to always press the soil that you’re using so that it avoids having air bubbles that will make the water drain out faster and making the plants dry
Please put in the description area the temperature at which the seeds should be kept. I think it's 80° Fahrenheit but I don't know what you have done to achieve such good success. A few more details please :-) Beautiful video!
I sprouted my tomatoes that way (seed in wet paper towel) and they sprouted within a couple of days. I tried planting my bell peppers seeds the normal method, and they’re taking a while. I would recommend the paper towel method.
Yea I'm a greenhorn gardener. I found this way of germinating the best. Got 14 out of 16 germinated and ready for transplant another 5-6days. Cant wait to see some sucker want to try one of my Carolina reaper peppers. Make sure he signed s a legal waiver before so he can't sue me .lol
@@AguyWhoLikesPlanes.no not really.. compost / potting mix is cheap cost me £3.75 for a huge bag , most difficult part of growing chillis is germination and getting through the first month once you get a few leaves , in month 2 they go through a big growth spurt

Hi I was wondering if someone could help me? I have around 8 seedlings growing in a tiny pot of coco peat. They are growing really close together and a few have them already have two small leaves, when should I seperate them and should I move them all into seperate pots?
Im kind of confuse on the 2nd method and why u separate seedling to poly bag. Can u just leave everything in the big pot and just water it everyday ? I have no experience in gardening . I'm trying to learn but it's confusing.
@@SokhaChetra WRONG!!! depends on the growing medium. Never let it dry out completely, Slightly moist is still OK. DONT overwater chillies, flowers drop off or even worse, the plant might rot.
Could you use chili that are already dried and take seeds from them to grow a chili plant? Or do the chili need to be fresh to take the seeds from? Thank you
Beautiful. How well they germinated. I tried 8 times both the ways with capsicum but failed. Seeds never germinated in the tissue paper also. What could be the reason?

Yes. Soil is also fine
really coco peat that is just BS then! America sells so many things no one needs. even peoplw in tropical countries never heard of cocoopeats!
