also as a clinical psych grad, my best advice on how to get out of a slump is try to identify things that are currently making you feel uncomfortable! in my experience, that is a pretty good indicator of what is leading to the emotions, beliefs or experiences that end up making us feel like we are "in a slump". oftentimes we are avoiding things we need to deal with and it ends up manifesting as this persistent, slightly negative mood. journaling is good but i recommend talking to others about it, getting perspective from a trusted friend or family can be v helpful! ♥

getting out of a slump for me working out as you said, listening to music especially pump music bc it gets you energized, but also if you are stressed crying can be good sometimes because the more you hold stress in it can just get work, so crying sometimes is good but other than than also spending time with the people you love who put a smile on your face

For getting out of a slump I try to get out of the house and honestly just like thrifting and doing something that gives me a bit of an oxytocin jump (like shopping lol.) Working out for sure definitely helps and trying to stay on a routine. I am bipolar and get those times where like every little thing can make me cry and honestly journaling has been so helpful. It helps me find the pattern of what brings me to that state!

Literally whatever you said about crying is so truee...i cry so easily over the smallest little things...like it's so bad..and it makes me feel so weak.... honestly my exams ended yesterday so i was happy but i kid you not out of the last 15 days that i had my exams...i cried like 12 13 days of them... Idk if it will help you, but I find that if I sanitized the blister, then applied a hydrocolloid bandaid on it, and just leave it alone a few days after, the blister would heal much faster. This helped me tons when I was walking around a lot while on vacation
