Stuka Joe- big thank you’s on your playthroughs. Always clean, exact and efficient. My go to for playthroughs. Thank as always for your time and effort. Appreciated.
excellent play through, short as it was. I was looking at this game for a long time and now it's a must for me. Thank you very much for this Stuka Joe. i would like to see the board and components on your new cameras , i will check out BGG for any photos.
The map is actually a contribution someone put on BGG which I downloaded and had it printed poster size at Office Max (about $19, ouch!, but it looks great). The advantage of the paper map is that the spaces have white borders and there are white lines, which are easier to see in video. The original game map has those black lines, which are a bit hard to distinguish from the background graphics. I have some photos, I'll put them on BGG. Thank you.
A fairly complex game, with much info to take on board. What's the betting most players will misread the rules in some way in their first try of this game? It can be played with two players incidentally. You will need some strong nerves and/or a strong drink to keep going with the Brits since it is almost certain the Brits are going to have the hell kicked out of them even before they land. Obviously the die rolls dictate the course of the game, but with a fair share of luck, the Brits can win. Many thanks for the video. In some ways a picture can convey more than just reading the rules.
Stuka Joe, do you have files for the Approach Zone Display you could share? Thanks for the play through, I have a new printer so will be PNPing this game at last.
@@AlecFlackie I couldn’t find the original file, so I made a new Approach Zone Display which I just uploaded to BGG. It should be available soon, after it gets processed.
I just noticed that I had tried to upload the display as a jpeg file, so now I uploaded it as a pdf. Hope that now it works. Sorry for the delay. BGG should approve it soon.
Game is available on VASSAL. Rules are available on BGG. (They're in the public domain now as Hasbro had no interest in it and didn't renew the copyright.) Enjoy.
My version of this game looks different in the pieces and board. Did you clip the corners of your pieces personally? Where did you get the layouts for the boat and map placeholders that you used?
I love how you mark off the death of crew members with a hello kitty pencil

I've REALLY wanted this game for a long time, even moreso after your video. Great job!
I thank you for the video, need to print and play this one now

Possibly one of my favourite games.
Excellent commentary play by play description. Looks pretty bleak for the commandos.

Dockside defense is limited at 12 not 3
