Mebius is a terrific show for newcomers and veteran fans alike. It features one of the most relatable and likable Ultras in Mirai/Mebius, has probably the best attack team in my opinion, features some of the best monsters and aliens from previous shows(though I do wish Alien Baltan had been included in either the show or the movie), has some great new foes, showcases previous Ultras, which is nostalgic for veteran fans, and peaks the curiosity of new fans, epic soundtrack and theme, very well choreographed fights, powerups Mebius receives aren't flashy and distracting like other Ultra shows did before and after. It's probably my favorite Ultra show in all honesty
The reason why i love the mebius series is cus mebius was the underdog type of character. His first debut where he defeated a kaiju, instead of the people thanking him for saving their city, he was hated cus of his lack of skill which caused a lot of collateral damage. And as the series goes on, he slowly redeems himself by the help of his teammates and the other ultramen's guidance. Not like the near perfect image of the first ultraman was where he was immediately a symbol of hope. Not hating on the original, but i like the premise of mebius better in my oppinion
Yeah i agreed when he debut he was pretty much like a soldier who was skilled but lacked the experience and wisdom in battle. His design is also a plus factor for me
Mebius was the last ‚classic‘ Ultraman series with the tribute to all showa era Ultramans. They even made the old actirs reprise their roles back in the Mebius movies too! I love Mebius so much! The most wholesome series ever
Im 24 and Mebius is "my" Ultraman. Similar to the various doctors of the doctor who franchise, Ultraman fans always have a certain one that is thiers. Usually the first one the watch, or one the resonates with them differently. Mebius introduced my to the franchise and i have since been a major fan of the whole franchise.

Even though I was 3 or 2 when watching this show. I remember the fond times when I would watch the dvd's and watch clips on youtube of this show. This show shaped my childhood and this is great.

Ultraman Mebius maybe an underrated ultraman but it showed that everyone has a beginning to get stronger and to him it is I really love it until now especially when i was a kid i would mimic his movements and pretend to be him I was 5-7 years old that time he is the one who made me smile and i would wait till every episode starts and their song is like saying that in every darkness there will always be light to save you and help you it even shows that the bond of friendship can save anything since his crew the GUYS have a special bond with him where in the final episode they all became Mebius showing that bond and love is a powerful weapon that even darkness cant defeat it

I'll admit I've only seen 2/8 of the Showa era so I don't have full context, but I really like how this show felt like a big finale to a story that built up for decades. Even with little context the tributes to older seasons were weirdly nostalgic, and made me want to watch those older seasons. This show overall gave me a nice warm fussy feeling
