I just can’t respect the fact that you deleted the video of the How to make DIY growth oil. Why not give the people a option to make their own DIY growth oil or choose to get yours? Who’s to say it’s not two different oils or maybe it’s the same.

Dina S I don’t think it’s her recipe although she put it together there are ton of natural hair youtubers who probably make the same thing but put their brand on it. I can respect why she took it off though.

I absolutely love the DIY oil. I use it faithfully!!! I also added peppermint to my mixture. I gives my scalp a nice tingle. And if you use it with the scalp massager it is an awesome experience. 😄 Thanks for the DIY oil.

I can't use oils (or conditioner) on my scalp, as I have Seborrheic Dermatitis. People with dandruff and SD might want to be careful with oils; if it is SD, the oils feed the fungal overgrowth that is there, which in turn makes the flaking / redness / itchiness worse. I only found out through living with it, and I know how hard it can be, so if talking about it can help someone... well I hope it does help someone. :D
You can still use it on your ends, right? Conditioner is made to not even go near your scalp since it'll clog hair follicles.

Yes, on the lengths, it's fine! Just not near my scalp.
May I ask what you use on your scalp? My son has a extremely dry scalp.
I don't use anything on my scalp. Just shampoo. I have oily hair though. Maybe buying a shampoo (hydrating) that is specially geared towards dry scalp is best.
I use pert plus,I'm still looking for other alternatives.☺😊

Yes! That mix is great. I've recently added coconut and avocado oils to my latest batch. Just an extra boost. I love it as an scalp massage and I always add it to my deep conditioner. I also use it to seal sometimes. It's just a wonderful mix. Thank you so much!

Shawnta how long does it take to dry the hair after all the creams/jellies are put on the hair. I have just past shoulder length hair. I have worn my hair straight forever. I've been natural for >10years. I want to get into the curly/wash and go look.

Hey Shawnta, do you mean you put it on top of your deep conditioner then after so many minutes rinse it out? I don't think you put it on top of your leave in because that would mean rinsing out the leave in as well. Please explain. I am going to start doing this diy but I need clarification.

I don't want to get discouraged because by the end of the day, my hair is dry and parts are either half curly or frizzy. I started doing the twist out because that's the only way I can get some kind of curl...smh. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.. Please help 😩
