In a video mentioning HS 2, published in december 2023, one would expect that it would be stressed that the project has been seriously reduced.

Diuring the ship tunnel segment, images were mixed in about the new coastal highway with underwater segments : these are 2 different projects, as you well know because you added it later in the video.

It is silly and out of reality when the video talks about high speed rail in Europe and dont mention Spain's Mediterranean corridor but Hs2... Bravo

I absolutely cannot believe that you used flyover video of Birmingham, ALABAMA, USA instead of what you are talking about, which is Birmingham, ENGLAND. It was bad enough when you failed to pronounce Birmingham properly. The end of the word is spoken as um NOT ham. While the two call themselves "Sister Cities," Birmingham, England is much, much larger that is Birmingham Alabama. We owe it to our dear friends Across the Pond to at least get it right. So you not only dinged our good friends in England once, you dinged them twice. Oh, how do I know this?? I lived in Birmingham, Alabama for 43 years.

HS2 is a proyect with severe cuts and uncertain future. In Spain High speed network (the longests in the world after China) has already open the connections with Asturias including one of the longests HS tunnels in the continent, conection with Murcia, Galicia and Granada and the oudergoing construction of the HS Mediterranean line will conect France with Barcelona, Tarragona, Castellón, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia, Granada, Almería, Málaga and Cadiz around 2030. That new HS line is so much longer than British HS2 and conects a lot more people and maritim Ports for comercial cargo and covers over 1000km, (so much longer than HS2).

Croossrail is the Elizabeth Line that is now completely working. A video uploaded 2 days ago should not have mentioned this project in the future. It has revolutionised London transportation. HS2 is now going any further than Birmingham

So basically just focusing on Western Europe then....nothing from Central Europe? For instance Via Carpathia (highway from Estonia to Greece through entirety of Eastern part of EU), Rail Baltica (High Speed Railway from Tallin to Warsaw), CPK (Solidarity airport in Poland for up to 100m passengers per year plus over 1800km of High Speed Railways and one of the largest highway junctions in Europe). Not to mention shipping canals and other works. Also why showing Warsaw (Poland capital) when talking about Denmark? On top of that...HS2 is a massive flop, nothing more than a money heist by the governing party. It was supposed to be much larger and the current benefits from the part that survived will be negligible (it doesn't even connect to HS1 like it was supposed to)

HS2 here in the U.K. has been a massive flop with so much money already wasted on it - all of this money would have been far better off being spent on a dedicated high speed rail line coast to coast from Hull to Holyhead, covering Leeds and Manchester and combined with a high speed rail tunnel under the Irish Sea from Holyhead to Dublin for both freight and passenger traffic alike - if this had been done, it would have enabled the further expansion of Dublin Port’s rail infrastructure to complement its port expansion and enhanced the Irish governments other improvements to rail infrastructure in the Republic of Ireland as a viable and sustainable alternative to flying and air travel between Ireland, the U.K. and mainland Europe via the existing Channel Tunnel

False choice & you have completely surrendered to the stupidity of the Conservative Party. HS2 is key to making HS3 Liverpool to Leeds via Manchester work because it's about capacity. To maximise the benefits of HS3 you need HS2 otherwise there's not enough capacity on track for more local & regional services. Also HS2 was made more costly because stupid people kept protesting it, taking it to court & demanding to build tunnels which cost a lot. HS2 remains vital for the UK economy to grow, with it we gain £100 billion to the economy.
