If you don't want to use cheats (in case you want to collect trophies if you're playing in console), you can always check the gallery for rich sims to add to your household or add as a townie, you can always transfer funds (there's also a servo that has like 10 million simoleons under the name of Isaac Newton I believe)
My go-to is always money 9999999. Then if I buy or build any businesses I transfer my funds to the business and again give my sim money 9999999 lol we're thriving

in cottage living they sometimes sell dragon fruit in the market stalls, they're expensive but it's basically an infinite money glitch after you plant them
If you're trying to play cheat -free (still earn trophies). Go to the world you're living in and over to your household. Press the 3 dots on the left from the play button. Manage household then press mark as unplayed (the green bob on the left). This will give you unlimited build budget as long as you don't press play. There's a separate build button also on the left of the play button. To get money I place down expensive things (while still marked as unplayed) to fill the extra space in my yard and such and delete them when I actually get back into the game to play.
I never had Sims 3 pets but it's so heartwarming bcuz how he hugs them before they die and it's depressing in the sims 4 bcuz the pets in sims 4 just.. Die.
If you have high school years, use the thrift store to make a cheap outfit then sell it at what ever amount you want. It doesnt involve cheats and you can keep using it.

It will delete all the sims in the household, tho i think they will still can be seen in town and chat with them, but they will not be in the world, they will be out of world. And then the house you want is occupied. Wish there was a cheat for that. You have to put them on another lot first then go evict the household that’s residing on the lot you actually want

I think I didn't use cheats on console, so I would go play with random family next to the house I wanted, then klick the neighbour house and choose the family I wanted in that house from the gallery, and they moved in. Then I saved, returned to world map and played with the family I wanted in the house I wanted.
Recently started playing sims 4 on console and didnt wanna activate cheats cause for trophies but learned how to make 2 more sims in my family making 4 total. Was at negative 15k money randomly but while i was change my new sims phone color and made my sim make food i suddenly got 9,999,999 money got a trophy for it too so ik i didnt accidentally enable cheats. Dont know what happened but atleast i get to make a better house for my sims now
Why use that? Just use money *** like you Said later! It's super easy because you can change it back to your original after if you remember the number 🎉 I normally use it to build houses then go back to 2 k so I can build up my own monies

You can actually access cheats in console too! Just hit r1 r2 l1 and l2 at the same time and then you can type in the bar that pops up :D

What about a cheat to move your new sims into a household that is already a occupied? Is there a way to auto evict all regular sims from the world?
