This fits so well with Attack on Titan’s story. Grisha, and Eren had to commit horrible deeds in order to protect the people they care for. Armin is like Odysseus because of his strategic idea and Mikasa and Levi are like Achilles because of their combat skills.
Not everything has to be a parallel man. Armin is nothing like Odysseus at all, being intelligent is not enough to give equal standing in character and personality.

I thought about reiner and berthold meeting the gang and, annie killing levies comrades and berthold killing armin- armin eating berthold, them killing marco stuff.. but this version was fit better to the lyrics anf it is a legend.
