Can ask your opinion on ..fishing off the versatile and fishing off the Glide (prototype) both great boots . Just asking any major differences.? Just in the market . Thank you …!

There are a lot of differences! Both are skiffs but definitely different styles of skiff.
Versatile: aluminum, wider beam, 50hp tiller, tunnel hull
Glide: Fiberglass (vacuum sealed hull), narrower beam, 25hp tiller, non tunnel.
It really all depends on what your waters are like. The versatile is a true skiff made for Texas while East Cape is Florida boat company. Both are great for Texas waters and getting into the skinny stuff. I would feel more comfortable in rougher water or bigger bay crossings in the versatile due to its wide beam, but the glide can handle chop as well. Poling wise I would say the versatile is more "stable". The glide is so light that if there's a lot of wind its a little harder to pole, not so much for the versatile. Main con for the versatile is that its an aluminum boat and rides like one, fiberglass boats have generally softer ride. Again, I love my boat and its perfect for me and what I need now, but my next boat will be a versatile! Both are great to fish off of! Just depends on what matches your fishing style and area. Glides will be cheaper in the used market than the Sabine's.

I do fish the KR shore line .
And was a kayak fisher man .
And want to fish the back lakes but I really don’t know which way to go. But was ready to pull a trigger on a P Skiff and those 2 r on my list . Once again thank you .!
