To a man that needs these boots, they're worth every penny and then some! Great construction......Excellent video....! 5 Stars!
We appreciate the support! 🙌
that grey leather makes for a beaut of a boot.
Damn these boots are handsome. I bought a pair of JKs 2 months ago. Hands down the best footwear I've ever had.
Those are nice. I know the customer is gonna love em.
Someone give the midsole man a new brush! Haha.
Great video.
Thanks 😂 👍
JKBOOTS #1!!!! THANKS.
Well done boys!
If you would just cut a trench in the soles before sewing, you wouldn’t have to worry about the stitches busting in a couple weeks after normal wear and tear. It would also negate the use of the screws. They look like an afterthought, or a compromise. You wouldn’t think this would be an issue on a pair of boots that cost so much.
Have you had a pair?
@@DadCore666 not this style. I had a pair of OT’s. They were the only ones I found that didn’t have the concave grind on the heel block that makes them look like a pair of stilettos.
The stitching that wears out on the bottom of the sole is negligible. The thread that’s doing the retention is still wedged inside of the sole. The screws are there in case the glue were to fail in an extremely hot environment. It’s not an “issue”. It’s a secondary and tertiary method of making sure that sole stays on for extreme use jobs like Wildland firefighting. That’s why all the PNW boot makers use this method. It’s damn near indestructible.
@@molon_labe_x8064every 3rd stitch of a lock stitch definitely being worn through sounds like an issue to me...
Very neat work
I am eternally dumbfounded about how so many nails and screws get put into these boots while not protruding through inner sole
We add a last to the boot that stops any nails from going through! You will be able to see a 'last' at 11:30 . This gets put into the boot and is the form that the boot is shaped around. The last has a metal plate on the footbed that bends the nails backwards into the boot. This is called "clinching" the nails. We have a video explaining this process in more depth - ruclips.net/video/mBKXeUngJvA/видео.htmlsi=SFas3ZzZAheryxvq
It's almost like someone though that through.
What a great deal for what you get. I’d expect these boots to cost at least $100 more. I think I might switch to JK when the time comes which might be real soon.
More like 700.....
Does the toe cap support the structure of that area? I've always had terrible issues of the toe box curling up, and getting permanent creases that dig into my toes.
Lace to toe solves this problem, but, I like this look way better if it accomplishes the same thing.
@JKBoots what do you guys do with the scrap leather left over from production? If if just considered production waste I’d be interested in it if possible ?
*I'm curious, what would you do with the scraps anyway?*
What is the spray you put on at the end?
Can y'all do a video on the Station Boot and all the available options?
Yes we do its under out customs tab on the website! jkboots.com/collections/buy-custom-boots/products/station-boot-2
I'm curious to know what the name of the tool used at 25:46 is called?😂
Was going to order a pair but chose not to due to all the comments concerning ridiculous sizing issues. Sad.
Can y'all do buffalo leather with steel toe?
We can do Bison leather with a composite toe or celastic toe's. We don't however offer steel toe's.
Is it possible to have a toe cap + a safety toe?
Yes we can do that!
Really ❤ your work love to work with you please share your thoughts
😎👍👍👍👍👍

И сколько оно стоить?
mon souhait d'avoir une paire comme celle la ,, je suis agent de sécurité ( vigile )
my wish to have a pair like this,, I am a security guard (guard) (security agent )
Really ads in the video, ok then.
Stiching obove the sole looks like a broken approach coz it will not last even a week if, worn regularly.
