Hey friends! So, looking into the Clones and their inhibitor chips failing was a fun one. Palpatine is so organized and well thought out in his plans, that it was interesting to dig into how he could respond if things fell through at the very last hour. But what do you think? Let me know, and also don't forget that if you enjoyed this to toss up a like! More Star Wars What If videos and theories are on the way!
Palpatine: Execute Order 66. Cody: Uh, who are you? Palpatine: The chancellor? Cody: Last I checked, the chancellor didn’t have a scrotum for a face. Palpatine: …now that just plain hurts. Cody: Get me the real chancellor, and I’ll probably still disobey the order. Palpatine: I should’ve listened to the Kaminoans when they said the chips had 60% failure rate…
I feel like a lot would still follow but there would still be less casualties like Plo Koon and Aayla Secura. In addition to their chips, clones underwent a heavy amount of conditioning that made them loyal to the Republic and the Chancellor. It's kind of a blend of The Clone Wars' bio-chips and the old canon explanation that troopers were brainwashed to the point of following the order. The clones each suffer heavy casualties due to how often the Jedi are on the front, and this means each units often get a high level of new replacements, shinies, who are easily more loyal to the Chancellor than their generals. They wouldn't have had that camaraderie or relationship built up.
Not to mention how abusive some Jedi Generals were to their clones. Ki Adi Mundi in particular would be exceedingly dead, his clones hated him because he treated them as objects.
If so I would like to see how Abeloth, the Yuuzhan Vong, and the Sith remnant from the original EU would make their impact in this scenario and Palpatine's would be cronies would have gone about after his exposure.
Also don't forget about order 99 for the separatist droid army which is basically order 66 but for the droids which was a backup plan if order 66 failed
I enjoyed this and agree, mostly. Mostly about Ki Adi Mundi. He was almost as bad as Pong Krell, so Baracca would have had no issue with the execution. Though I think your other examples would have been spared.
Thanks! Now that could be an interesting one. I do enjoy putting Palps into different situations in my what if’s. 🤔 That said, I might just do it. I like how it could stir the pot way early on.
Some would be like: oh heck’s nah screw my Jedi they’re awful *pew pew* And others like Cody: oh hell no I ain’t shooting kenobi, something ain’t right here, time to take revenge on palpetine for trying that bull
It would transpire into a very tragic conflict, once again brother against brother, with the Clone army divided by the blind loyalty to the arrasing Empire and the loyalty to those willing to fight for the ones who saw them and where their friends. A Clone inner war that, no matter to who were they loyal to, would undoubtably break many of them, and many of the surviving jedi as well
I have an idea. What if Darth Vader when’s back in time when the Jedi arrives to kill palpateen and stoped anikin from saving palpateen and killed him?
Palp: Commander Cody. The time has come, execute order 66 Cody: nuh uh. Palp: wha-what, what do you mean "nuh uh"? Cody: nuh uh. Palp: Execute. Order. 66. Cody: ... clicks end call Palpatine: 😶😐😑😐🤨🤔😠😡 Cody: ight lets get back to fighting these clankers!
I would love to know what would happen if say palpatine died during the battle of corrusant in an accident. Like say the ship was destroyed or died when it crashed.

"Commander Cody, the time has come. Execute Order 66."
Commander Cody: "No. No I don't think I will."
Palpatine: Execute Order 66.
Cody: Uh, who are you?
Palpatine: The chancellor?
Cody: Last I checked, the chancellor didn’t have a scrotum for a face.
Palpatine: …now that just plain hurts.

"The time has come, execute Order 66"
Cody: WTF is order 66 ??? Stop this prank kid I'm in a middle of a war
Looks like Palpy didn't do extensive enough testing of the chips in this timeline.
would be crazy to see all the other clone legions and the jedi march on the temple against the coruscant guard and vader
Disney should make a StarWars What If. They could make so much damn money.
Look at how enjoyed they are here on RUclips. Now imagine an official one. It would be great. Literally endless possibilities.
Let's hope Dave Filoni directs if it does happen

But the droids couldn’t kill them jedi even with chip so that would be a waste
Order 99 was a complete shutdown of the droid army
I enjoyed this and agree, mostly. Mostly about Ki Adi Mundi. He was almost as bad as Pong Krell, so Baracca would have had no issue with the execution. Though I think your other examples would have been spared.
I think the only way the clones would've disobeyed order 66 is if they removed their inhibitor chips
Noice video, also i would love to see
What if Tup's chip prematurely executed order 65 instead of order 66?
Thanks! Now that could be an interesting one. I do enjoy putting Palps into different situations in my what if’s. 🤔 That said, I might just do it. I like how it could stir the pot way early on.
@@DankFarrik Execute Order 65! Wait no I ment 66!

Awesome video brother, a great look at what might have happened should Sidious' grand plan fail thanks to an OS update aha
That’s what he gets for thinking he could use Windows Vista still.
I think they should make a comic about this if the inhibitor chips didn't exist at all you know
I have an idea. What if Darth Vader when’s back in time when the Jedi arrives to kill palpateen and stoped anikin from saving palpateen and killed him?
Well the Coruscant Guard weren’t really a combat division. They were mostly Law Enforcement and Military Police.
I think the clones would go to the jedi temple to kill othrr clones and that would be the clone civil war
It would absolutely break a lot of clones, another huge tragic tale on an already tragic event
dude this is so fucking underrated
Just got back from a long break. But thanks! I appreciate that!
Palp: Commander Cody. The time has come, execute order 66
Cody: nuh uh.
Palp: wha-what, what do you mean "nuh uh"?
Cody: nuh uh.
Palp: Execute. Order. 66.
Cody: ... clicks end call
Palpatine: 😶😐😑😐🤨🤔😠😡
Cody: ight lets get back to fighting these clankers!
What if Star Wars got a Star Trek replicator? What would happen with the wars in Star Wars?
Will there be a part 2 to this
Any loyalist clones would join the rebel clones once they face off against etch other
I would love to know what would happen if say palpatine died during the battle of corrusant in an accident. Like say the ship was destroyed or died when it crashed.
Make the light side win
I mean, the Legends timeline had no chips whatsoever. A lot of clones didn't follow the order but most did.
