Just letting you know manufacturers have to follow certain standards before they can sell it to the public so the right height meets OEM spec. However if the user decides to adjust the coilovers that is no longer the manufacturer's liability
Loving the new editing man! I see great improvement each video. The B-roll is awesome between clips. Btw I will be using that jack handle trick this week when the Öhlins go on😆
You kind have a good situation with the ride height. Now you know how high it is out of the box so you can mark it on the thread and lower the springs as needed. 👌 My car came with this kit when I got it so thanks for the video. Haha
yeah exactly, this was the plan all along just wanted to get an idea for what HKS recommends and make my adjustments as needed np! sounds like you lucked out haha
@@jaelnava_ haha thankfully it seems like they're set correctly but eventually gonna go back in for a corner balance 🤞 Waiting on what you set the car at in the next vid. 👌
The reason why you fought the rear is because you have the transmission in gear and the e brake on just release and set it in N and it should not fight you it will freely move up and down
Go give casual autox a try. Its almost no preparations needed if you maintain your maintenances routinely. Just bring a wuart of oil and you can get the wheels in motion.
@@jaelnava_ Trust me its fun. Let me know if you're in Norcal. We have touge battle stuff in Sonoma Raceway Autox sessions. I think I have a few clips on my channel
My stock ap1 suspension was bumpy. These used Yonakas I put in are bouncy. Like when I hit a bump there's a second bounce. Are these like that? I like about a 2 inch drop.
funny enough I've owned Ohlins and in the next video I'm gonna begin tuning the suspension a bit and figuring out what I like, I'll probably compare my experiences with them both so stay tuned!
@@jaelnava_hi do you think it’s worth it to just save up and wait for a good deal on ohlins? There’s a brand new HKS hipermax S set locally that is selling for $1200. I’m just trying to justify if it’s worth spending more or not, thanks!

@@jaelnava_ Dope. Ima gettem when I rebuild the suspension. Thanks.
I have these on my car. I think from the factory they come with a 1 drop.
You need to invest in some cusco ramps my dude but otherwise good stuff. Looking forward when you dial em in.
I think you're right haha just need to find the budget but a good idea nonetheless 🤙🏼
Your face when it started rolling back 😂glad the car is okay 👍 you should do another video about how the coil overs feel on the back roads
