The bench! Wow, you did it justice - the blackish brownish tones are beautiful and give it a lived in look for sure. The upstairs wrap around area is so unusual and at first may seem like a wasted space, but I love seeing it take on a unique cozy look - love the idea of a reading chair in the corner.

The item has to make me smile & I have to love it!!! Ur choice of rugs r beautiful ❤️ & the bench was definitely worth the wk. I absolutely love to decorate & sometimes I have gone a little far 🤪 I get insomnia & one time it just hit me to rearrange a couple pieces n the livingroom that being said when my husband got up & got ready to sit n his chair it wasn’t there & his fanny hit the floor 😂😂😂😂 it usually takes him awhile to wake up but that morning he woke up fast😂😂😂 I always wanted babies & to decorate so my dreams have come true ☺️ Iris June is getting so big & absolutely beautiful looks like a big baby doll 💝 have a wonderful wk 👋🏼

We call those little spaces "The nook" - it can cover a reading nook, a coat and hat nook, etc. I always loved this space in your home (especially the bench you had there). So in my mind, its the nook... :-)

Would be so grateful if you would share the name of the product you used to strip the bench. I have tried and used so many kinds when l have worked to remove paints and stains of furniture l have secondhand and vintage antiques l purchased for my home. Thank- you.

I noticed that the berries at the beginning of the video are not elderberries. Those are pokeberries and are extremely toxic. They can be used to dye.
We were fretting about the baby being so close to the plant, glad to see someone else noticed
