Here is the Google Translation to English: Super! Well done, the construction sequence is more than reasonable. The material is pine waterproof plywood of low quality, with knots. I had to build in general from construction plywood, in a sailor, in 1971. Pasted over with coarse calico on red lead. They took me by train from Nakhodka to Vladivostok. We walked along the Peter the Great Bay My response: Thanks for the kind words. So you built one as well?
Enjoying your videos. I’ve searched RUclips for three years for an in depth build of the weekender or vacationer. I’ve been seriously considering building a vacationer, but not sure I want to risk a flat bottom sailboat. Have you had any issues with weather getting into the joints between the bottom and sides of the hull? And, how track when sailing close halved? Thanks again for producing these videos. Great to see your children involved with you. I hope to get some of my younger grandchildren involved with my build.
You guys are doing an awesome job. I am building one also and enjoy seeing your technique and tricks... Are you using marine grade ply? What type paint did you use? Thanks for the info and keep up the good work. She will be such a great addition to your live.
@@CnCEndeavors … yes I think the cheaper grade plywood is ok as long as there is no big knots in it and plus you covered it in resin so it’s water proof , the wood will be good to go , I’ll be doing the same on my next boat build but might use marine grade on the sides of the hull and bottom , every where else other ply wood will be used , your boat in these series is coming along very nice , I know it’s finished now but I’ll continue to watch the videos. 👍
Not my design. It is really for protected waters. Designed by Peter Stevenson for a popular mechanics magazine article in the 80s for the "backyard boat builder"
Thanks for watching anyways - I'll change the music going forward. Never expected it would take this many vids. The butt joints were filled with thickened epoxy and covered with fiberglass - came out good in the end.
@@CnCEndeavors … I wouldn’t worry to much , they need to look at other videos and see their music is woeful lol , I quite happen to like this catchy tune in your video , it’s not hard to turn the volume down if they really got an issue and I doubt they could do better doing a video , love this boat I’m looking to find the plans for it I really want to build this boat , it looks like something I can build and the boat design looks very nice to me. 👍
Can't wait for part 5... enjoyed every video. Thanks from Chile!

Thanks - no I've had no issues at all. Loved the building process and sails great!! My joints are epoxy filled and not one leak.

No I went cheap - exterior grade plywood and used regular exterior paint with killz primer - holding up very well.

Interesting technique and bulild... Is this your design? Looking for the best 18 ft. coastal cruiser. C. Stevenson (CA.)

Good....
And part 5?
Coming soon
@@CnCEndeavors wooo.. Waiting 4 U Master.. Greetings from Panama.
Loved the video, but god, that repeating jingle was so damn annoying. I'm not convinced by a butt joint between two sheets of ply, though.

For the job...amazing , but this free song its worst
I stopped using that song later. Have tons more editing to do, but have fallen very far behind
