    Asking if bench is harder than snatch is like asking if assisted pull ups are harder than muscle ups 😂

    I supplement with 4 fluid ounces of a glyphosate and ethanol tincture chilled with 30 grams of buffalo milk frozen into the shape of a tiny cow for irony. My mood has improved, my HDL and LDL cholesterol have been completely eliminated, but my best lifts have only increased 50%.

    I struggle so much in the snatch, hip mobility to get in the squat and shoulder stability. Man I hate/ love it so much lol

    Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum systemic herbicide and crop desiccant. The acute oral toxicity for mammals is low, but death has been reported after deliberate overdose of concentrated formulations. Although some small studies have suggested an association between glyphosate and non-hodgkin lymphoma, subsequent work confirmed the likelihood this work suffered from bias, and the association could not be demonstrated in more robust studies. Overall, there is no conclusive evidence on glyphosate's effect on human health as of DEC2020.

      I can’t comment on the current body of evidence for or against glyphosate. I am no expert. I just find it interesting how Americans seem not to hear about Glyphosate. Because here in Europe you hear it mentioned and debated in every single parliamentary assembly.

    I like benching after snatch. Mostly so i can keep my strength numbers up while learning the snatch and cnj. I do notice a decent performance impact.
    After snatches there is no way im doing my normal 120kgs 5x5 even if im only snatching 50-60kgs

    I’ve found pull ups or lat pull downs before snatching somehow makes snatches feel better. That could be a fun two to mix

    Push press vs. incline close grip. In a Big Z video he said that if he could incline close grip press something for 2 he could overhead it for one.

    At 10:23 you state what I was thinking at the beginning: do the snatches first and then try to match them in bench. Trying to snatch after the bench has tightened up your pecs, does sound challenging. 😆

    You had the plates facing correctly the first time...the lip is supposed to be inside so your fingertips can catch them and makes it easier to pull the plate off.

      In powerlifting competition, only the first plate faces inside. Everything on top of that faces out. So the logo can be seen

    Most people without experience would be able to bench more than snatch. It's unusual for the opposite to be true

    Honestly muscle snatch and strict press are the closest lifts for me, but they're kinda similar.

    my wrists were really fucked but I worked through it on snatch, but when I tried bench they really hurt again so I think I just killed the right nerves.

    The specificity of weightlifting and powerlifting when compared is interesting. I’m just a 53 year old fat guy who likes the power lifts. My deadlift PR is 475lbs (no where close to Dozer’s), my squat sucks, but I can bench more than Dozer with a PR of 335lbs.
