You can make any quad street legal by using the company dirt legal or depending on the state you're in as long as your bike has a title throw headlights blinkers on it and the brake light you're good to go and the horn
If only they offered a 500cc model at a proportional bargain after considering the increased manufacturing costs for a larger bike of similar quality...all I would need is a link to enter my credit card info!!!
how easy/or possible to get that road legal registered ? be good for bikers who cant travel in the snow for example, i remember kirbys long list of requirements when his Ebike got licensed, i know most quads dont meet the requirements
check out Dirt Legal. they give you South Dakota plates. the 30-day out-of-state rule is rarely enforced by the DMV. my brother had these plates for over a year in California. even then the DMV doesn't really do much, there is no binding requirement to change your plates. and if they try just park it for a month to reset the 30-day requirement
Probably impossible or close to impossible. Easier just to buy an already road legal quad although I believe they are basically treated the same as cars in UK law so useless for those of us that only can ride bikes.
Great video Steve. Gotta tell you, I made a dual 2000w motor ebike, 60v battery etc. To try out it's power I towed a transit van, no problem. Don't laugh but this guy asked me if it would pull a non motor cargo canal barge. So I tried and it did, effing epic. He can't use horses down the tow path, and motor towing boats aren't always available and are expensive. I towed his barge 4 miles. Ebikes are the new barge horse.😂
I really hope you didn't ride that thing without changing the oil. i bought one of these things and the oil change was filled with metal shavings. oh and i replaced the clutch twice with only 20 miles on the dash. i got tired of fixing it and sold it for 400 bucks
I love it. Not everything has to be electric. I would like a street legal quad for the summer ❤
I totally agree!
Same but needs car liscence

What was the top speed @dudestuff
That thing is the size of a 2-stroke blaster possibly smaller barely anyone is going to want to ride it over the height of 5/7
How did you get away with it riding on road tax insurance??

Anyone know if they will ship these to the USA?
those roads look familiar, I live round the corner from where you were filming, Always wanted a quad and the price tag is very persuasive

Crazy, when you see what people do with mobility scooters. I'd love to go the 2.5 miles from my house to the beach on one of these.

You shouldn't need to change the oil on a brand new engine. After a few hundred miles sure.
Can you make this road legal in the uk ?
