- This mod obviously had a lot of effort put into it, so I decided to put a lot of effort into making this video.
In this video, I review the Egg's Lap Mod for Pizza Tower, go over features of the mod, changes between this and other lapping mods, and showcase assorted sprites and graphics.

You forgot to mention that THE FINAL LAP "kills" the combo "ghost", this means that you are essentially guarenteed a P-rank if you didn't lose the combo once.
Because of the what ctop works, the baddies in the outer areas are not spawned by John, so that means they aren't In the lap, and that is why combo is like that

Also, the bricks are a nice touch because according to the wiki, each pillar John is a gatekeeper for the levels rich are actually pocket dimensions and when that John is destroyed, the pocket dimension begins to collapse, so the bricks literally symbolising that is amazing

And for that, Lap 4 is the ultimate challenge, more Laps like 5 onwards is already something unnatural and no longer seems comfortable.

I always wanted to try lap 3, it seemed like such an interesting concept to me that could an intense and fun experience for skilled Pizza Tower players, but when I found out that when you died you had to restart a whole level again it really deterred me from playing the mod, I knew it would be not only extremely time consuming but also quite painful. Egg lap’s mod really fixes the issue with the checkpoints and makes it far less ridiculous, I really do love the little details and things they did, they made lap 4 actually justify its existence, in other mods it was just not unique or meaningful enough like pizzaface chasing you on lap 3 to be its own lap, only recently they made the timer a threat on lap hell and honestly, snick still doesn’t do enough there, I love that here Snick is a quite a real threat AND the timer adds a lot of intensity. Eggs lap’s mod is the perfect lap experience that I know all Pizza Tower players can enjoy.
Side note: In Lap Hell Hot Fix, if you use the checkpoints, your combo is taken away, this doesn’t happen in Eggs Lap’s mod, which in my opinion makes it far more accessible and appealing.
Also hard mode to me feels perfect, since John ghost meanwhile a nice addition, feels like it isn’t truly enough to require it’s own lap, so it does a good job at implementing him as well, making it the ultimate Pizza Tower Lap 3+ experience!
I beat every lap 3 normally, yeah don’t try it. It takes too much time for a too short lap. Eggs lap mod is amazing with checkpoints, and hard mode just gets rid of them for people who played the normal lap 3

I originally went into this expecting it to just be a mediocre lap mod but honestly I have a LOT of respect for how much care was put into such a simple concept
honestly I feel like it earns it's place next to scoutdigo in the "could totally be added in a update one day" category of pizza tower mods, even if it isn't nearly as big
Egg's lap mod is REALLY well made, everything down to the visuals, different modes you can play and like everything else!
One of the best lap mods as of right now!

I'm relieved that something this awesome doesn't necessarily requrie a high skill level from the very start. Feels like it could be in the actual game even.
Egg's Lap Mod is really kicks ass. It's so balanced, and anyone can find their way to play this mod. I hope we will see more reviews...
Fun fact: The HUD Sprite used in Lap 3 for Peppino is unused in the original game, as it was intended for the scrapped Heat Meter mechanic.
Edit: As of March 11th, 2024, the HUD graphic now goes used whenever you gain a combo of 50 or higher. To everyone who said this comment is outdated, haw-haw-haw!

this is so cool thanks for sharing this with us pizza chef's it is a masterpiece
can confirm the mod is actually good not only because of the expansion but because it TEACHES you stuff with your trial and errors on easy and normal mode on the checkpoints. that you could do in the original lap 3 and 4 in some of the levels sure theres some tweaks to it but aside from that this mod literally teaches you things that you can do in the actual lap 3 and 4 mod to beat and i like that..
It sounds so cool. We now need a mod that brings back the Pizza Time backgrounds for the levels that had it in March Build 2.
Peppino's lap 3 tv hud was actually a now scrapped tv expression, which was supposed to be a tutorial, there would be a text bubble next to the tv telling u what u need to do, this was used in eggplant at the time (since the tutorial was still worked on).
Its now officially added when you get a 50+ combo
Egg's Lap Mod is one of the lap mods that IS fun to play (Only on Normal and Easy mode) and is not really a pain in the ravioli like OG Lap 3 and 4 hotfix that why is one of my favorite lap mods in pizza tower!
Fun fact:The checkpoint system is also seen on Pizza tower Cheesed up!

It was only a certain amount of time until I would see a video from you about the Egg's Lap Mod
It's the little details that make the mod very interesting from my point of view.
Everything is polished enough so the experience is enjoyable both for visuals and for gameplay.

This mod is the shit. Not only does it provide the traditional ride-or-die lapping experience of other mods, it also has accommodations for more casual players. Hopefully this sets the standard for lapping mods in the future!

When this video the Egglap mod became interesting to me, after trying its easy and normal difficulties, the difficult mode is honestly an extremely difficult challenge. The fact that John's ghost is chasing you, the checkpoints are not enabled and getting the P rank in Each level in this difficulty is a worthy challenge for players who want to try mods related to flights 3 and 4, after several days, I finally managed to achieve the laps master achievement and the racing chef suit. The experience of this mod was unique and I recommend trying it, especially to pizza tower players who are looking for a real challenge in pizza tower.
For some dumb reason I cryed my soul out to manage to do all lap4 hard mode in floor one but still no medal's achievement
The pizza granny explaining lap 2 is unused actually, it appears in the lang file in the normal game

tbh i'm glad egg's lap mod released, i think it puts the entire lapping trend to rest in an official and nice way, and i'm glad it's been made so accessible to those who aren't as skilled as the rest (i can finally play lap 4!!1!!11!!)

the fact that snick.exe sends his arm further just to try to grab you whenever you're far away is a nice touch
i like the detail that pizzaface is damaged in the final lap because TCTOP happens after Pizzaface bossfight

A small lap 3 /4 detail I noticed: In wasteyard there's a section which a sausage ghost is blocked of by lap 3 blocks, with a annoyed face similar to the vigilante's face when you take awhile to pick up the gun.
10/10 this give me the cheer up for playing lap 3 / 4 in all levels with out having month to complete it all 😀
The hat in the Lap 4 P-Rank animation is a crown, Peppino literally conquered the Lap Master Challenge! 10/10 Mod! Lap 3 was just an appetizer, Lap 4 is the true challenge!

I feel like this mod is worth it for Final Lab alone. I feel like it is a great ending to this mod, though can't say if it's a challenge since I haven't played it myself yet, I'm getting there. I still need to P-rank every level and get all achievements on top of beating this mod.

Fun Fact: When I saw the John Ghost in the trailer, I thought we would be having Lap 5 since most lapping systems I've seen seen like PTU would have Lap 5 with John. Turns out he was a Hard Mode character.

A little funny fact but if you equip lapping lunitic in ether ptuce or from lap hell hotfix, You basically just get lap champ even tough you don't have the actual achievement needed to unlock the outfit while the other 2 outfits from lap hell hotfix just makes you transparent.
This feels like one of those mobile game ads where it's endless praise with little to no criticism

I actually had the idea of a "Final Lap" at the end of CTOP with Pizza Mayhem long before the mod, just as an animatic idea rather than a mod idea, and as a random comment under the song upload on Gallant Goon's channel

i love the sistem of coming back at the checkpoint in each laps, cuz i always just give up trying to play the laps but with this, *i literally spend the entire day playing all the levels with lap 4*
something i love in there too it's the War Timer, instead of putting a time limit with a unfair time, they make that every room you pass, it adds up some seconds, this make me feel mor confortable with just avoiding pizza face and snick than worrying about the timer
