    Sponsorships and affiliate codes aside, (not that she isn’t telling the truth or anything) Curology is the best shit ever !!!! It helped my scaring, blackheads, my redness which is something I always struggled with and pretty much gave up on trying to help. I would literally never go anywhere without makeup because of the redness and curology changed that sooo much

    What a well done video! That's why this channel will be successful! BTW Fashion was in large part dictated by the streets....bet you didn't know that the torn jean ,most of you own,the "deconstruction crave" was BORN in the STREETS (and clubs) of BROOKLYN, NEW YORK. Fashion was NEVER superbly dictated by POLITICS , very small amount . Beauty and Light.❤

    i feel like pretty packaging has gotten tons of hype which has made it harder for people who need effective skincare to find products that are potent and worth their price. im glad you have found a skincare regimen that works for you.

    I need to try that curology
    Will it help with closed comedones??
    I always suffered from blackheads since I was 8 years old and now at 25 my skin is almost completely clear except for all of the closed comedones😫😫
    I do salicylic acid, tea tree oil products and I do light therapy but they are relentless

    • @AmySerranox
      @AmySerranox  6 лет назад +2

      the great thing about curology is that its custom for you so you can put these notes when you sign up along with pictures of your skin and your medical advisor will formulate a cream that suits you.
      xo

    aaargh i needed this video in my life! thank you ☺️ i'm wondering, what would be your skincare essentials for a beach holiday? i'm leaving to brazil for a week and really wanted to keep it simple, since the humidity there is insane!

    • @AmySerranox
      @AmySerranox  6 лет назад

      Ya I would keep it light weight and simple. Makeup remover ( travel size bioderma) Gentle cleanser (any of the ones mentioned here) a light weight moisturizer (I'd grab Embroylisse not greasy at all perfect for day and night) and a Sunscreen!! Super goop just came out with one that I'm loving its called Unseen Screen its SPF 40 (really nice!!) plus its water and sweat resistant AND it clear so no white cast or anything. xo

    • @123ashAHHlee
      @123ashAHHlee 6 лет назад +1

      ivannia I haven’t looked into it personally, but a few people on reddit (skincareaddiction) have said the the lush skincare products don’t have good ingredients in them?

    • @dearherblue471
      @dearherblue471 6 лет назад

      Ashley Medina i hope it's not true 😥 i've heard so many good things but u can't trust everything they say on the internet:(

    • @justanotherpotato5523
      @justanotherpotato5523 6 лет назад +1

      ivannia Just because it's "natural" doesn't mean that it's good, essential oils especially are irritating to the skin. According to a dermatologist essential oils which is in most of the lush products are unstable and could break down into irritating substances

    • @dearherblue471
      @dearherblue471 6 лет назад

      Icy fox Productions i don't use oils really, do u have experience with lush?

    • @justanotherpotato5523
      @justanotherpotato5523 6 лет назад

      ivannia I said that there are essential oils in the lush products, not that you use essential oils

    Hi!!! I love your vids & how you educate your viewers on different forms of skincare! But I just wanted to let you know that the Kate Somerville mask that you mentioned contains microbeads, which are a form of microplastics that are extremely detrimental to marine ecosystems. They exfoliate the skin well, but they also fill our oceans with plastics and kill wildlife! Here is a list of some brands in the U.S. that use microbeads for your reference (also contains a list of brands that don't!): www.beatthemicrobead.org/ProductTable.php?colour=2&country=US&language=EN
    I know you are an intelligent woman and a mindful consumer, so this is all said with love!

    Differin gel is also good if you want an affordable Tretinoin (Retin A) treatment. Plus you can buy it at Target and the retinoid in it is only .1% so you can use it without worrying about flaking or peeling. I got a .3% retinoid gel from my dermatologist and its pretty strong; I can't use it every day or my oily skin becomes a flaky, crusty mess

  • @Cheery023
    @Cheery023 6 лет назад +1

    I love your videos, but when you do stuff like this, I wish you would put up like some text or something on the screen that says how much each product costs, there is nothing worse then going on youtube hearing about a product, and then getting excited to buy it and then not being able to because it is out of your budget. For example, I know you said the Drunk Elephant serum is pricey, but to some that might mean 30 dollars, and that might be doable for them, and then they go to get it and its 90+ dollars. its better to rip the band aid off right then and there.

      My favorites are:
      Kiehls creamy avocado eye treatment (its amazing at night time super nourishing, but its quite thick and causes my concealer to break up during the day) The charlotte magic night cream that I mention in this video is so thick that I haven't even been using under eye cream. its enough. i just take the cream up to my eyes.
      During the day some faves are: Origins Ginzing eye cream
      Sunday Riley AutoCorrect
      Olay Deep Hydrating Eye gel
      Sometimes I just pat some Glossier Balm Dot Com if they feel super tight and dry and i'm not wearing makeup. I also like to pat an essence under my eyes I have found that this has helped with my lines. I like Missha Time Revolution
