I was diagnosed with cancer three weeks ago, and I thank God even for this news, because I find myself praying and conversing with Him more and more! This has helped me look at things in a positive way, regardless of the situation!
@@YippyPippyPH Thank you for your message! An update: the PET CT scan showed the cancer has not spread, so glory to our Lord! Thank you Father for hearing my prayers!
Good Reminder. I used to feel guilty not having perfect prayer time but now I use my 20 min ride to work for prayer, for a rosary, when cleaning etc Sometimes I don't feel as connected but the consolation, the "candy" Fr Groechel talked about a lot is not constant. My mind wanders but a saint once said, just keep bringing it back and go on. Don't stop. Thank you for more support with your advice

Oh this video made me feel so much better!!! There are times I just don't feel engaged or feel like praying and my mind wonders in prayer which makes me feel terrible. But I get through the prayers and honestly feel better.

I've been fighting to pray the entire rosary daily and it's a struggle with 5 kids during the summer 😬 (Edit - I'm so sorry I meant all four mysteries, not only 5 decades)
Sometimes I do one in morning, one on way to store, finish on way home. Not all the time, but I wont let my busy day stop prayer. A nun once said praying doing dishes is fine, folding laundry, you don't always have to be in church.
@@deb9806 I'm a non-catholic so I'm still learning how to pray the rosary. However, every intention for each rosary I pray is for the conversion of my entire family. I hope Mary will soften my spouse's heart for conversion 🙏

Hello. Can someone tell me if I'm doing it wrong? I don't know how to pray the rosary but started the 54 Day Novena by listening to 54 Day Novena on RUclips. I am on Day 14. I always listen to it before bedtime, say my intention, and I would usually fall asleep while reciting the novena prayer. I always had the best sleep since then, i feel at peace BUT I worry if my intention will be fulfilled since I don't get to finish the novena while I'm still conscious. Am I doing it wrong?
Fr. Columba Jordan CFR has a RUclips channel called Called to More LITTLE BY LITTLE. And in a video called " I Got COVID for Christmas (how to pray when you can't)", and he describes how he spent time in prayer when he "couldn't pray", as in, it was physically or mentally difficult for him to pray. A method he suggested was to simply pray "Jesus", maybe even using a set of rosary beads, or praying "Jesus, I trust You". I like the prayer "Jesus, mercy". I've prayed this way when I've had horrible pain in my body, headaches and neckaches, that made it very difficult to pray. I hope this can help you. I sometimes find prayer difficult too.

Try praying one decade at a time, throughout the day. It only requires about 5 minutes per decade even when said reverently
Try using an online free app of the rosary to keep you focused and paced.
