Really good video but you failed to show and advise how you got the air out of the filters , as a beginner of self servicing a John Deere tractor ,I am scratching my head as to what you do next ?
Nathan where is the drain plug on this tractor to drain the whole tank I recently watched your vid to get my other tractor started and worked and one my machines has water and I’m trying to drain while fuel out any response would be good thanks
Nathan Boyce hey Nathan I gotta question when I started disc harrowing with my 4840 today I was running on high then when I slow down the engine knocks and cuts off its full of fuel idk what the problem is any ideas like to be more specific it sputters like it’s running out of diesel then stops but it’s full of diesel
@@michaelwittmann5103 Have you sorted the problem out ? if not , get a torch and shine in the fuel tank to make sure there is no object moving around over the outlet pipe , which has happened to me , found end of funnel in there rolling around and blocking off fuel.
Thanks. This helped me on my first fuel filter change on my 4630. The primer pump existence was the biggest help.
Thank you very much, I think my 4430 just jelled up even with a winter blend fuel.

Not sure it has a drain but the pickup is on the bottom of the tank and could be used to drain the tank.

Michael Wittmann that could be a couple things. Your manual should have a section on issues and possible causes.
