Unboxing Amazing Chahoua Geckos! (Our New Project)

It has been a long wait for us but we finally got some Chahoua Geckos that we are starting a new project with. They are beautiful and sooo much bigger than I thought!

My chahoua is a mainland at about 9 mnths as of the 2nd so can I move her from like the size box you have for the baby to a little bigger? Or should I wait a full year. ? (Feb 2)

I would move her to a larger enclosure. If she seems to start doing poorly for any reason, you can always change her back.

Hello, can we install a Chahoua Geckos in a plastic box only with ventilation holes and without lighting on the top for heat and UVB?

It would totally depend on the temperature of the room they'd be in. As long as it sits at the correct parameters for them, you should be ok. Ideally, they should have UVB, especially if breeding.

Oopsie! The name of the breeder we received these 3 cuties from is Caledonian Kings. He is an amazing guy to work with, and he has stunning Chahouas!

Just got my first ever :) It is a mainland, but im excited. Do you know if they lose their tales, do they grow back prehensile?

Congratulations on your new baby! To be honest, I wasn't too sure about your question, so I reached out to my breeder group, and they have said that mainlands grow their tails back with normal function. Just darker in color.
