  • Two methods demonstrated of loading the jetski (PWC) onto a trailer after riding. Method 1 - assistance from another person. Method 2 - by yourself, no assistance. We demonstrate using our 2006 SeaDoo GTX 4-tec machine. Key points: take your time, go slow, small adjustments, wet the bunks of the trailer, but put it out enough to leave some resistance when the hull makes contact with the bunks. Let the winch do the work of pulling the personal watercraft onto the trailer. Secure it properly using the front strap under the roller, and the rear straps. How to load and trailer jetski. Easy peezy, as they say. 😊 You're definitely right about having a partner to help. I've tried launching small boats by myself and it's a bear. Thanks for sharing, Chad and Jennifer!

I've done each of our boats, and the jetski by myself at times. It's always much easier with a helper. Jennifer does a great job. I will say that a jetski is the easiest of the boats we have if you do have to load/unload by yourself. It's just so lightweight and easy to maneuver (as is the trailer) if needed.

Don't have a jet ski but my wife doesn't like loading the pontoon either. She does a good job at it though and it saves time at a busy launch ramp.

I always try to remind Jennifer that everyone is learning. Each time you do it - you learn something new and get a little more comfortable. I always notice that even after all the years of experience, I still have to remind myself of the process each time I use the boat for the first time of the summer.
