I do envy that unflinching passion, like your existence meant a single goal, the reason you breath, you wake up in the morning, you eat, nothing else matters. It's crazy, but divine.
Proto Man I know how you feel I’ve always wanted a piano of my own I only played it once in my life I loved it and my school doesn’t have music class so they don’t have instruments but one day I’ll buy my own
This might sound a bit shallow, but I've always wanted to get a cello and learn to play one since my musical eyes and ears have been opened. That was 8 years ago. This movie was the last push that motivated me to finally do it.
This movie made me want to play the cello, and I started 2 years ago through school, unfortunately I’ve decided this will be my last year. But, I do hope to pick it up again, or the piano in the future. Because, I still love the feeling.
Need to do sequel. I read the book Where She Went its so good hope they turn it into a movie and get Chloe Moretz & Jaime Blackley back to reprise Mia & Adam 😊
this is realistic, my mom is an old school german lady, and she was STRICT about after 8pm, a sound ordinance, to be QUIET, no loud t.v, no yelling, even until i was in my late teens early 20's, but only thing I could do any hour of the night, no matter how loud? play my cello! lol
"We made that" ❤😭
Look at how happy he looks to be able to give her a cello
her parents were so good to each other, and to their children. They were lovely

Wish my parents can surprise me like that. I relate so much to her in a musical sense.

Same here. I've been singing and playing the piano before but this film made me start playing the cello and the guitar ❤
Karl Mercado I hope you did it. I play cello and I love it. It’s hard to explain it to someone whose never felt it before.
@@katebenik9086 I did it. Been playing for almost 2 years now. 😀
Karl Mercado amazing! Stick with it. It’s worth it.
Great! It's the most beautiful instrument.

Her Dad’s smile at 2:14 is the best! Now that is a Dad who loves his children!

love this movie so much :(
Kids just seem to have an instinct of either becoming a mirror of their parents or the exact opposite.
How parents sacrifices themselves for us and never acknowledge....
😊thank you 😊
I was so mad that there wasn’t a second movie
Need to do sequel. I read the book Where She Went its so good hope they turn it into a movie and get Chloe Moretz & Jaime Blackley back to reprise Mia & Adam 😊
Awww I love this part!! Super sweet!

I wish I had good dad like that.
I got a cello of my very own yesterday. Best. Feeling. Ever.
Congrats! Getting your own instrument is always a great experience, it's becoming part of your own self. Enjoy playing! :)

i love this movie
i used to have a cello in 2007
I used to play cello and that cello sound terrible. Not her skills. Her skill is quite good but the cello just sound horrible.
Well it was a used cello. Maybe that was it?
StydiaAlwaysand Forever that is definitely the reason but I still don't get why
Caterina Chen Maybe the instrument itself wasn't a great quality? Like the manufacturer didn't do a very good job.
she said she borrowed a crappy one from school, what do you expect 😂
Borrowed instruments from schools always suck. They're hardly replaced. Like ever.
I'm reading the book and im just now finding out its a movie too 😧
that little girl is my friend lol
This is very different to the book
I have viola
Same!
Dw they're just mini cellos
My condolences.

0:00 (Plays a D note on Cello).
Qué es lo que toca en 0:38?
What's this song mias playing I'm in love with it
I think it’s Schroeder no 8 (it’s an etude, not an actual piece)
At the beginning of this scene the girl plays a D note on it.
What is the name of the piece at 0:47?
It's Alwin Schroeders 170 Foundation Studies for Violin Cello Exercise #8
I am that kind of father. Only my daughter knows that I'm telling the truth
has she ever heard of a practifce mute
Can smone please tell me where did they filmed this movie??
