You forgot about the Tezuka award. It’s a manga competition held once a year and holds 6 winners I believe and the top 2 get serialized and flown to japan with prize money as well as an award. To top it off you get an editor for an entire month and you get published in shonen monthly/weekly I believe.
Love the video! Im an artist as well. Jump+ responded to my manga and said that the paneling could be better ect and the story is difficult. But they said that the story has momentum and potential. I didnt give up i do it for passion

I can’t draw at all, but I write stories. Always wanted my stories to be turned into Mangas as I’ve always visualized them in my head as anime’s. How does someone like me publish a manga? I couldn’t enter a contest because well… I can’t draw.
T B F...under my findings and observation, some Manga Artists are no one man job at all why they are able to finish the manga in time to save effort **unless you're like Kentaro Miura or insert Manga artist here. It all boils down to communication and money to get your dream job done. Also if you have like a one shot manga, there's a chance you can increase your connections to someone so you can pitch projects to them. ** The only reason it sounded like a one man job is so the brand of the author is to sell well solely meanwhile some of the manga assistant stay in the shadows like they're ghostwriters. Well u can work with a artist who like ur ideas and they can do storyboards where u can change stuff and add stuff to their art with them , after that they can finish it and u can post :)
Light novel is the best you can do, you dont need a whole panel of drawing per page, ypu just need to type simply but visualize the situation/person by drawing them per ch/start of the book
If there's anything I'd like to add up, I think at this day and age...no artist is a one man army just so to finished everything the AUTHOR envisions. the question is has there any foreigner who succeeded pitching a manga to a Japanese Studio( or individual) and at least make a return to their revenue as a success?

Day one and really no progress it's too early to say that tho I came up with 4 manga ideas and all of them are pretty good in my opinion, my mind goes BRRRrRRRrRR with ideas.
Day two I shared my ideas with a close friend and she cried so I must be doing something good I started to make some panels, It's great I felt very nice today props to Poseit the app it's very good if you need to make up some positions.
Two questions: 1) what us the length of the manga that has to be submitted in terms of pages, chapters, volumes etc and does it need to be the complete story or a mini story thats part of the whole complete story 2) Does it have to be in Japanese or will English be acceptable as well. No don't worry about it! So it depends on the award. Silent manga audition is 5-17 pages Monthly award (no restrictions) Kyoto award (16 - 48) so a oneshot I am not 100% sure but it's around that. The manga does not have to be in Japanese, you can submit in English! But after you win, they might translate it or something, I don't know because I haven't won anything yet. Hope that helps!

You can publish in Japanese as well but you don't have to at the beginning, you just need to get noticed by editors from Japan and when you work with them, they will translate the manga for you. So don't worry about the language, and worry about the manga itself
