Great teaching video Fredrick! I think the grip is one of the most overlooked and most important ingredients in the golf swing. I hope your going to be doing more of these types of videos.
Chili Dippa Golf Larry and I have a number of lessons recorded and ready to go. We are doing more this weekend that will be more short game. I plan releasing 1 per week for awhile in addition to my other videos.
I like the explanation of how your hands hang naturally affecting the neutral for the individual. Very good point that had me standing in front of a mirror to check!
@@agolferswalk I've seen some awful grips and you wonder how people get in such a mess. You have to rotate your forearms so much to get into these positions but they always want to come back to the 'at rest' position. I've seen people aiming 40 degs right to try and make up for a 4 knuckle grip and a right hand under the shaft. I don't understand how you end up like this, completely lost.
The Hairy Golfer 😂😂 I cant imagine they start that way, so maybe a compensation for a problem with ball flight or more likely a way to feel stronger in the pursuit of distance. 🤷♂️
@@agolferswalk I think it might be fix your slice lessons on youtube. The ones that tell you to strengthen your grip and aim right for a draw. I'm sure that's where the ultra strong grips come from. Before the internet the problem was always weak grips.
Great instruction, this does make a lot of sense! He'll definitely get to single figures with your instruction. I would love the see his progress. Great stuff man!
Hey Fredrick, You seem to be the RUclipsr Golf Rules official, at least for us “Bogey Brothas”; and processor of the best RUclips golf swing. Quick question: On my second shot, I shanked a ball which hit a tree, then shot off into the poison ivy covered forest. I looked along the edge and couldn’t see if so I dropped a ball where I thought it went in and took a one stroke penalty, which seems to be what most RUclips golfers do. It wasn’t marked OB or a hazard. Then I was looking at my USGA Player’s Edition Rule book, which they sent me for the price of postage, and it seems to say I was supposed to go back to where I shanked it to drop. Doing the drop from where it was lost is definitely better for pace of play, but was it in correct? Thanks
My 2 Cents HaHa. Thanks for the kind words 2 cents. The ball was lost, so you must go back to where you hit the shot from (the shank). You incur a one stroke penalty. The other rule I believe you are referencing is the OB option. The rules allow a course to make a local rule allowing a drop on the side of the fairway where your ball went OB but with a 2 stroke penalty. I would agree that dropping one where you lost it is quicker but just not allowed in the rules. That being said, if you are just playing with friends and that is what you as a group want to do, then do it. As long as it isn’t a tournament or a score you post for handicap, It’s fine. Enjoy the game. 👊🏼
For aiming sticks go to Home Depot and get the sticks that are used to mark sidewalks and driveways for snow plowing. The same as “aiming” sticks but less expensive. I would like to schedule a “trip” south in February/March for content. Hope to get together with you in VA then 👊🏼 I am always available for call/FaceTime 🤷♂️
Landon Clattenburg I am glad you are looking for it, but it didn’t go up in this video. Your name in Red is on the wall and the video of it will be in a video coming out soon. The channel has seen a couple hundred subscriber jump so there are a lot to get up. Maybe the next one, maybe the one after that. Be sure to keep watching. Hint: it goes up after Harper Golf and before Hackerish Golf. 👍🏼. So, what did you think of the grip video🤔
Very interesting video Fredrick! I think a lot of people overlook the grip and focus more on the swing but when a lot of there problems are because of the grip. It’s crazy how much can happen when you just change a little
The most logical explanation for how to grip a club that I have ever heard. Looking forward to the next video.
Chris C thanks Chris. I hope it helps. The next few videos will build on this principle.
Such a great explanation of the grip.
Glad it was helpful!
How to grip a club has never been explained so clearly. Thank you. Looking forward to the next one.
Mary M. Thanks. The next one is going to be controversial, but so important.

Larry Williams my guy 👊🏼. You are on your way for sure. 💯
A great breakdown of how to hold a club but also why! It will be fun to see the difference it makes with the change!
He has already cut about 6-8 shots a round. It will be fun to see Larry's improvement.
Fantastic grip logic explanation.

Fore to Four Golf awesome. And what did you find out about your arm hang and how you grip it ?
A Golfers Walk in very similar to Larry, and with the recent changes my coach has made to my grip it’s a lot closer to that natural/neutral position!
Fore to Four Golf awesome 👊🏼
That's funny. I was doing one on the grip shortly 😂😂😂😂😂
The Hairy Golfer 😳 Good. Grip is frequently misunderstood and overlooked.

Thanks Erich. He is already shooting 86-88. I expect him to break 80 this year.

I appreciate it. Thanks
NICE 🎥⛳
Dyson Golf thanks Gerald 👊🏼
Very good. I need some instruction also.
Glad it was helpful. Grip is so important. I will be checking your upcoming videos to see how you are doing 👊🏼
@@agolferswalk It would been better if you were closer, you could help me🚨. Only 1 lesson so far. I need a net and some aiming sticks.

@@agolferswalk I found it to be really helpful I tried some of the hand positions earlier today and it helped with my golfing experience.
