Anytime anyone brought in a picture I always looked them in the eye and said “I can cut your hair like the photo but you will not look like the photo.” People do not understand it’s a comb, not a wand. Both are not good responses though. imagine being proud about your kid not having the confidence or strength to speak up and say he’s unhappy with something like a haircut. How will he ever be able to speak up about more serious issues if no one is encouraging him to out of fear of it being seen as rude?
