Blackberry Bread
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar divided
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
4 eggs
3/4 cup melted butter
2 cups blackberries
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350F. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and lightly coat with flour.
Put the blackberries and 1/2 cup of sugar in a bowl and mash.
Whisk in the eggs with remaining 1 cup of sugar, then add the melted butter.
Add the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and mix until combined.
Pour the mixture into a loaf pan.
Bake for 50 minutes to one hour, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Whenever I make something new my husband will say, "Is this one of Fallon's"??? He's always happy when I say yes!

Yeah! You can use any berries. 😁👍 I can't remember if I followed this exactly, but this is the recipe I used. 😁👍

Hey Fallon, I hope you and your family are doing well. Just wanted to tell you that I am sorry to hear about your tomatoes. I know how hard they are to grow. My mom does a lot of gardening and she has some trouble with animals eating her okra, especially hope to hear from you by the way tomorrow is my birthday and I’m 40 and I feel so so old
. 1:09 also the main problem that she has is the squash bugs. Sounds like in Georgia where you are you’re not having the same issue which is good for you. Wish there was someway we could get rid of them.

Blackberry bread looks good. Reminds me of when I was growing up when my parents and I and my sisters went to the berry farm and Daddy would make homemade muffins with the berries and Momma made pies. Good idea on the omelet jars.

We bought a bacteria that we learned the bugs would not eat and keeps the worms away. It has really helped our plants this year. We have only had one or two worms this garden season. The bacteria is bacillus thuringesis (BT). Hope this helps.
Fallon you have to use seven Dust on your tomatoes. I picked 17 horn worms off one plant! I hadn't put the dust on them yet bc I hadn't seen any worms but they hatched out over night. Now they are recovering and I have tons of tomatoes on just 2 plants. I still can't believe yall were in Cherokee when we were still there camping. We rode over to Dadnell farms in Bryson Saturday. I bought a case of tomatoes and I canned 28 jars yesterday! Labor Day weekend when we go back I will stop at Osage and get another box. Theirs come in around that time. Love hone made salsa and it so easy to make. You should try it. I have a easy recipe I could email you.

Falon I make your blueberry biscuits all the time and they are my girls favorite. I changed it up and I’ve made blackberry, strawberry, and peach ones. They beg me to make them lol. Thanks for all of your recipes. I’m with Manly today. I’ve had a pajama day all day. It’s nice to have those every now and again.
