Did I hear you correctly, Dave? There will be two pen shows in London this year?

Yes that's correct! Cambridge is off the calendar for this year but we now have two London Pen Shows, the regular one in early October and now a new Spring show on 10th March. Sadly it doesn't leave us much time to save our pennies! I wonder if the Queen will make an appearance to replace her ageing Parker? Haha.

Thank you Dave for showing this beautiful pen, like Stephen Brown earlier did. I follow your video's for some weeks now. A point of some more criticism, is that your reviews are in my humble opinion not really reviews, but more like one-pen-shows. I sometimes miss the added value in your video's other then showing us the beauty of your (or other man's) pens. I would be more interested in your true experiences with the pens in particular, in comparisons / shoot-outs and in what fountain pens mean to you and how you use them in your life. No means to offend you!

Thanks Katja, always interested in receiving good feedback. I do usually give some of my experience in the writing example, whether a pen writes wet or broad or dry, and whether I've had to improve the nib to make it write wetter, and how smooth the nib is. Maybe a longer writing example might show that more, I'll have to think about that. I have some videos coming up soon which although won't be shoot-out's will be comparisons of my favourite pens and I go into more detail about what I like about the pen and why it's my favourite, so hopefully you'll like those videos.

I have one Omas I was going to sell years ago. Now, that Omas is gone, I am happy that I kept it.

I think you made the right decision! If you choose to sell it later you'll probably get more for it.

What a lovely pen! That is really good looking, I love Arco pens, and judging by how many you have you like them too! Also, what are your thoughts on the Chiantishire?Seen the few videos with it on but do you have a review on it? Also great video!

The Chiantishire is a nice demonstrator but I don't have a review of it yet.

It is a lovely pen, do you have journals where you write every day in? Or for example are writing a Novel? I always carry a Leuchtturm1917 and love to sit somewhere and have a cup of coffee and start writing. Thinks like my thoughts, Bullet journals, thinks I have seen that day. How do you use fountain pens?

I often wonder the same. I wish I could have afforded the fountain pens I now have back in my student days when i would have used them more often. Of course, I was a typically poor student, so I used cheap pens.
