I will never understand why people go hiking in the woods or mountains alone. Its so incredibly dumb I'm absolutely stupefied by this behavior. 90% of missing cases in the wild are people that were alone. Always take a friend or go in a group. It will significantly increase your chances of surviving any kind of misfortune.

What IF, Xien was never in the 'second mountain', instead he was in the first mountain he wanted to go, but something happen to him there, so someone got his phone and things, bring it all the way to the second mountain just to distract authorities? The way the letter wrote, seems to me like it really is a set up. The fact is that, they never actually search the first mountain, right? They only focusing on the second mountain. What if that walnut shop owner lying? That doesn't make any sense either, why Xien suddenly took interest of a walnut, since he's been exited for the hike the whole time. Me same as Kidd, I want to know if he has any connection to the first mountain before? Like a friend, or family nearby. He's been there before? There are so many questions unanswers. And all the statement given by the family and even his wife was bizarre.
I mean like why would someone bring him somewhere a whole 30 miles away , risk getting caught when it was much easier to do it there tho since they’re already on a mountain. My thinking is he was walking down the first mtn , got a call from his friend and told him he was on his way down then went and got some walnuts. Then went over to the other mtn then something happened there. Idk why he had this sudden interest in walnuts , another thing I don’t get is why didn’t he try and get in contact with his wife tho and say hey I might be a little late
What if he is the killer? and he already planned this ahead of time and the plan was to make his wife search for him and call for help and the police gon find all the bodies that he already kill and to makes police and all of the people assume that he gone missing or maybe getting killed when he climb this mountain? because his family and his wife really know that he loves hiking in this mountain for years so it's imposible that he does not see any human remains like the bones that police find
I don't know man. 'Cannibals' suddenly popped into my mind because it's usually cannibals or serial killers that got that creepy behavior, plus the human bones thing. 😕
