Adjusting your rear sight might help. I own 2 gen3's and 1 gen 5MOS . those guns have brought me many perfect scores in Glock matches Shooting out to 25yards. I also own the other long slides for caliber: G24 in 40S&W, G40 in 10mm, and G41 in 45ACP I love the longslides
O no 😮. Now I'm going to have to buy another Glock. I heard they're offering a Gen 5 MOS 17L and a Gen 1 17L classic so don't know which one to get ? Awesome review.
Whats going on bruh, good review I had my eye on the gen 5 17L but decided not to purchase was concentrating on my 2011/DS collection. As usual good informative video bruh..! 😎
First of all, get a red dot. secondly long barrel pistols are typically more accurate than short barrel pistols, I have a CZ Shadow 2 Blue with a long barrel with no optic, just iron sights, and the accuracy is off the charts. The 17L is an outstanding gun and quite accurate. Keep up the good work, the gun is good. Cheers...😊
Good video bro , let us know if you get any hiccups with the gen5 17L. I want one too but I've been seeing videos of other shooters having cycling issues. Not sure if it was ammo related cuz glocks ain't supposed to be picky. I was along the lines of scooping up the gen5 17L or the gen5 34 and getting a threaded barrel later. My end goal is to find some type of stock/brace chassis for it to be a truck rig when I go fishing. Maybe a stand off gun for home defense. I live near the Texas Mexico border so yeah......I got peace of mind issues....lol
Man every large gunstore around me has 2-3 17ls I remember when they were really hard to find when I got my hands on my first one I really thought I had acquired a rare committee I don't feel that way now Hell I have 2 gen3s and 1gen5
Hey big homie, thanks for the vid. Do you notice when racking a live round out by hand to be a little more difficult than other glocks? I picked one up a couple weeks ago but have yet to shoot it. That’s the only thing I’ve noticed so far.
Thank you for watching! I’ve noticed that a couple of times with some brand new Glocks but after a couple hundred rounds or so the stiffness usually goes away.
I put a Glock slide plate racker on my Glocks. It helps get a grip on them. When you're wearing gloves or wet conditions it really helps. I wish gun companies made the nubs on the back like some HKs pistols have.
The 17L is a go to war pistol, you have a high velocity and kinetic energy from the 6.02" barrel, stability at longer distances, flat shooter, and a long barrel to grip for pistol whipping someone, it should handle +P &+P+ a lot better than a 17, 19, and 26. 147gr +P+ should hit like a hot .40 155/165 from this pistol, over 1200fps.
Nice review as always! I have a 17L Gen 3. Honestly, I bought it for the cool factor. I'm a. trigger snob, so I don't really enjoy the shooting experience. I wonder why the didn't put the coffin cut on the gen 5?
Thank you for watching! Good question about the coffin cut. I wonder if they will make some Gen 5 models with the cut & without the cut like they did with the 34
The front serrations are the weight reduction cut off the slide to cycle properly that is supposed to be the same weight cut out like the ⚰ on top the gen3 17L and older g34s. With gen5 you get front serrations instead of the ⚰ cut....in theory.

Thank you for watching! So far I have not had any issues but I will do a follow up video once I hit the 1000 round mark.
