I think all snare drums should have a wire adjustment knob on both sides of the snare wires.

Straight aluminum? As opposed to ludaloy? Although with stuff like the supraphonic, they've done so many things, and ppl have uncovered stuff about them so I'd assume the acro is the same, in that aluminum has been done before, as well as chrome over brass, chrome over aluminum, "regular everyday ludaloy" and maybe even other materials. These drums been around for 50 years so it stands to reason they've changed processes over time.but the acro has gone up in value. Nobody gave a shit about em until the past 10 years, now they're being pushed up in price and new ones go for quite a bit. They're not entry anymore(although nothings changed) they're now hi tier entry/ middle price/ low professional priced. Where as back in the day they werent really seen as anything special,or junk. But nothing can be a sleeper hit anymore. All it takes is a few ppls opinions, and alot of regurgitation from. Others to influence a whole market,than it spins out of control and prices go up n up while the company can charge twice as much once they see the way ppl value them,regardless of if it doesn't cost much to make them.
