Was lucky enough to fish with Capt. Eric Wallace earlier this year in Maine. A lot of fun and he taught me a lot. Particularly how much work I needed to put in around my line control. Great guide and highly recommend going out with him.
Stripers on the fly are an absolute blast! If you guys ever get the opportunity, come up to PEI, Canada and fish the flats. You'll have an amazing time!
The Alarming Rise of Mycobacteriosis in Salt water is worrying me Fishermen are catching fish with infectious marks on them Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) are bacteria found in soil, dust and water. Although anyone can get an NTM infection, some groups are at increased risk. Treatment varies and typically typically requires seeing a specialist and the worst thing that can occur is another decline of Stripped Bass due to Bacteria a Red Flag should be raised as to the handling of these fish so i use good quality Surgical Gloves

Awesome video 🎣🎣🎣
Great video. Are you using intermediate sinking line?
Yes, I am.
Can't find a date on this video. Seems I've seen this before.
Wish NFF would make that clear!
Definitely an old vid. I saw it several months ago.
It was Sept of 2022.
Are you using a full size leader or half of the leader for your outfit.
Typically, off any sinking line, I use no more than 4 feet of straight florocarbon. Species and fly sizes determines the lb test.
