Well said dude, I appreciate the insight. I started a TikTok a few months ago but kinda died down with the whole pandemic going on. I need to get back into it again!
yeah it's just changing, every few years a new platform comes around, same crap presented slightly differently. my agent was in a meeting with someone else and the average time spent per open on IG is like, 5 minutes, tiktok is like 45 minutes. it's growing and it's not going anywhere any time soon..
Two words: James Hype. He seems to have leveraged a nice amount of followers and views on Tiktok, without pulling silly challenges, showing skin nor doing ”Influencer collabs”. A lot of DJing videos, chopped up from his performances or longer showcases. Check him out?
bro, first thing i saw opening the app and i'm like nah this aint for me....but honestly hopefully this helps someone. i never talk about this kind of stuff but i figured i'd try something new, and not totally confident about it yet but lets see how it goes.
@@djdstarofficial it's hard to keep up with all the services and pay for play. I find I have always made more doing a local sports bar or other small venue with friends than any online monetization.
trust me i feel you. i feel like the more things carry on, the more marketing/content we need compared to music...but yeah...the editing wasn't too bad, it's just quick cuts, nothing too technical. i feel you though :X

How do you edit the video? Producing music is hard enough, now I have to produce video? Ugh, FML
