He was told of Tang San's history to godhood by his mum and this was his motivation to succeed and reach the same heights. In Douluo Dalu 2, Tang San is like the hidden background character. Yuhao takes his life experiences as a lesson that even the weakest (blue silver grass owner) can become the stongest (sea/Asura god) If he can do it, why can't Yuhao. That's why, for Yuhao, Tang San is that figure in his heart that he looks up to and wants to follow. That's why he never gives up even though he is the weakest. It's because Tang San before him already proved that even with the weakest spirit essence, with hard work, one can become strong. So, Yuhao believes in that and strives hard too.

This is 2hy he wants to be a god so that he has power above everyone else and noone dares to stop him from seeking justice. At the beginning of the novel Yuhao wanted revenge more than justice and fot this too, he needs power. I said this mainly because it is his character song so it gives insight into his beliefs. He hasn't become strong yet. He isn't a legend yet. So, this phrase is more about him looking up to the original Shrek 7 Monsters. It hints at the path he wants to take and will take. The nice thing about douluo songs is that it always gives you hints about events without being too obvious about it. On SL 1 some of the songs/scenes hinted at Tang San becoming seagod.

The reason he looks weak is because he doesn't want to reveal his skills necessarily. Yuhao has fate on his side to ascend. Tang San goes against fate like the other characters of the authors novels. Not saying he doesn't work hard, but where Tang San started from scratch, he started with superpowers helping him (Shrek academy as number 1 academy, Tang Sect whose skills are still considered the best although the sect deteriorated.) compared to Yuhao, Tang San and Co had to create the Tang Sect from scratch and turn Shrek academy into what it is today. The fact they started from nothing and gained everything is the reason the wolrd looks up to them and thats why Yuhao is no different. Well, that's just mu thoughts. I just wanted to explain why I came to this conclusion with that verse.
