He walks by our office every day because he lives in the area so we asked him if he wanted to help again one day we saw him walking by and then he said he would be willing to help us full time during our move!
We have to work in it for at least 4 years! Renovating a commercial space is common if not standard before moving in, it’s generally called “unfitting”. I worked out concessions in the lease to not pay rent for a few months in exchange for me paying for our own upfit of the space :)

why the heck didn't you use low VOC paint??? 🤦
Low VOC paint is not standard for commercial painting projects. Thankfully standard paints are safe to be around and VOCs quickly dissipate :)
