So yes, Mount Ainslie isn't a hard hike (I think there are a few ways to go up, Kokoda trail is from the AWM), but for those who can't walk it is mostly easy to take a vehicle up the road (unless there's an event on). Mount Majura is probably a nicer walk up (the only one you can't drive up), but Mt Ainslie has the iconic views. Black Mountain is also quite popular, from the Botanic Gardens, and it's not super hard but it does involve two inclines. Those are the three main hills, but there are also some others like Red Hill, Mt Painter near the Arboretum, or other nature walks beyond the city. Canberra is a city with an interesting trajectory, and it does have those nice parts now that have popped up recently.
