No, it was made before Sengoku and was supposed to be the end of the old canon. JAPAN, Helman and all the other nations appear here but everything was reworked later. Old canon is Rance 1 - Kichikuou, new canon is 01, 02, 03, Collapse of Zeth, Sengoku, Quest and IX/X BUT! The stuff happening in Kichikuou was reworked and remade in IX and X, a lot of this stuff are alternate routes. X is the biggest eroge/Visual Novel project ever made iirc, I didn't play it since I don't understand japanese but I saw battles against Demon King Kayblis and all that cool and crazy stuff. I expect it to have A LOT of completely seperate routes where all the stuff happening in this video here also happens in X, like Miki getting rped to death by Kayblis. I'm not ready for this ;-;
Rance X worse than KR on bad endings imo. Spoiler ↓ In demon king kayblis ending kayblis rapes kanami, sheila, lia, kou..... and when a country falls monsters will rape/kill that country's ruler. (lia magic sheila and kathom girls) you can kill kayblis without cheating btw
@@bighatastrea x is more epic and grand but the sad stuff wasnt too fcked up in it. the devs were a bit too soft on the fked up stuff though medusa is still as brutal as she was before thankfully
