I felt it when she said school was her safe space. Teachers I hope you realize sometimes students see us as their parent they dont have, they need us. Some children are going through a lot. Blessings to you Latesha.
We have this conversation every day as teachers and have come to realize that school is a safe haven for many students. Not all students are under our care solely for academics.
Mighty God. I'm so so shaken as she mentioned that her mother died then her brother. I know her mom. Her mom and her look so so much. Her brother and my daughter were actually the same age attending the same preschool. Mighty God this young lady is so so awesome. God bless you
She is one of the strongest living female that has ever lived, I can only imagine the many tears, the sleepless nights, the suicidal ideations, the imposter syndrome. Girlll, you have climbed mountains, you have swam across many seas. I pray that your future will be one of peace, positivity and prosperity.
What a strong young lady! Your mother was a victim like you. She did not take care of her mental health , and as a result you suffered the consequences. Hurt people, hurt people. Thank God you were able to break that cycle of abuse! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
I heard your cry,i can feel your pain......thank you auntie Susan for taking the time out to listen to this young lady 😭😭😭😭😭 with tears in my eyes,i wish i could have someone to really listen to my story without saying i am lieing...😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Glad to see her all grown up.... looks so much like her mom....i remember that devastating situation...would never be the one to hold it over her head...... haven't seen her in years but glad she is able to talk about it openly.....be blessed my dear.
Touching story very painful, but you have said it. Forgiveness is the key. Pray your story will help someone. You are strong, you will make it. Phil.4:13, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. God blessings🙏🙌
Wow many have gone through this very thing but can I tell you your mom was broken she never had a chance to live her childhood life he forced her to grow up so quickly she was hurt and confused this was also a cycle a demonic one sent from the pit of hell you walk right into it but thank God he is the author and finisher of our faith you shift that cycle I pray you are healed and delivered from your past this really touched me blessings young lady and big up Aunty Susan keep doing good.
Latesha, I admire your tenacity. God has been carrying you even through your trials and so you will continue to minister to many. My heart loves you big for all the love that you weren't able to get in your childhood. May God bless you and your son ❤exceedingly and abundantly with all of your heart's desires including counseling.
Driving home from work in NYC and listening to this literal eye water full inna mi eyes . So much trauma for such young age . Taken advantage of those who supposed to care the most . Yet she was a so strong . All I say is continue to cover her father Jesus 😢
What an inspiring story. I've seen and heard of persons experiences of atrocities in their life but this has surpassed every one. Happy for her that she has endured. It was tearful to watch and listen. My first thought was I wish I could take her in as a family. I would be more than willing to contribute to a fund for her.
Latesha, may the Lord give you peace as He helps you to walk into the destiny He has designed for you. Your story and your resilience will help so many. You are a beautiful soul.

Wow. Her mom had this bouncing personality always looking pleasant, yet it was not obvious that she had those experiences. Listening to her I can recall that blue starlet that her mom used to drive and when she was coming from school three of them and she overtook a truck then collided in another vehicle. Just be be strong. You are beautiful, smart, ambitious, intelligent and you are stronger than you think.

During the testimony of Latesha I had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming. Unfortunately, this appears to be a tale of two Jamaica's where generations of women and their children are at risk by unsuspecting pedophiles. Latesha your testimony will serve as a beacon of hope for families who have similar stories. I pray that your ministry will take you places as you touch one life at a time.
Got lost a bit, so I’m asking for help here. She says her mother put her in a taxi and was driven to a location where she met her father, her mother being Bahamian went back to her country and that was the last time she saw her mom. Fast forward she’s working at a call center and gets a text that her mother has passed, next thing you know there’s a screen shot of her at the grave site of her mother at Dovecot. How did the mother die, how did the brother die?
@@TheSusanShowJA Thanks for letting me know. My heartfelt condolences goes out to her. Her story is heartbreaking to say the least, I pray the cycle of incest stops with her and she doesn’t allow the same thing that happen to her happen to her children.
