Taemin should always have a mysterious fog at his feet. It feels wrong somehow that he has to go around, fog-less, like a normal being. Plus dramatic, moody lighting. It's so him. I just shudder thinking of him having to be subjected to harsh, grocery store type lighting. It's just wrong, I tells ya.
The point of the song is to encourage dancers or just people in general to dance/move without hiding themselves. That would be hiding his feet, and his feet move amazingly. Hiding them in the fog would be a mistake and a waste. Also, the point is to not need anything too beautiful and to be okay with looking like a "mess," while not paying attention to the surroundings in order to be "free" and not self-conscious. I understand why they wouldn't focus on a lavish stage like they usually do for SM artists.
