You must stay in Kargil for 1 or 2days atleast and explore kargil. because there are so many places in Kargil Like Hunderman ( the last village of Kargil. Hunderman was part of Pakistan when both countries got divided in 1947), Sankoo Valley (called as Gulmarg of Ladakh) and many more that you can visit and i am sure that you guys will never get any such view in any part of Ladakh. Baki milte hain Leh mai Inshallh if i get to know where you are staying in Leh.
