After years of messaging "friends" happy birthday with no response, asking how they are or asking to hang out and being left on read, I've finally matured to the point to leave those people behind. Knowing those you care about don't hold you in the same regard can shatter your self-worth, but it does NOT mean you are not worthy of friendship or love from someone else who is meant for you and your life.
