I don’t know whether the Chinese young man is local or not, the majority of Xian local don’t eat beef Rou Mia Mo which is too dry and only eaten by Muslim, we prefer pork Rou Jia Mo which tastes much more delicious.
He is a local - good friend of mine - I agree! I also prefer pork > beer in most dishes - but 烧烤 I prefer 羊肉- and yea compared to chicken , pork 肉夹馍 is 10x better !
