That was a great overview of how Callies improves their products by working with the customers to determine their individual needs while also improving the overall product quality for all customers. It would be interesting to see more about the different manufacturing processes that take place inside their facilities. Well done Greg !

Hey Greg I hope you can get an answer from Billy for me... The question is on a BBC or 481X platform, is a TIMKEN BEARING MATERIAL CRANK AND RODS ( ULTRA ) neccessary in our Pro Mod builds for long lasting performance... we also have them WPC TREATED AND RUNNING BALLS OUT 9950~ 10K rpm... they last. Would he like to build an engine like that for me... we run in the 3:40's over 200 mph... ? I would appreciate a good " yes " on that or a builder in that arena.
Thanks Greg, I thoroughly enjoyed this segment with CALLIES ans Billy!
    Respectfully, Seth

So where overseas does it come from?
I do not mind stuff made in Japan, South Korea, Germany, or Sweden, but I doubt that's where these parts come from.
You mentioned a crank for a Godzilla. Would this be a Ford 7.3 gasser or a Nissan GT-R?

I thought you shouldn't lay crankshafts flat? If they do it its ok!

If you're referring to the cover photo, those cranks are still going through the machining process, so those aren't completely finished cranks. Generally, it is best to keep cranks upright, or rested on the journal using a stand or something.

@@mr.c5217 Gotcha. Those are stored in a way that they are supported well in the box.
