at 46:00 i think you should've played the otama and use hongo on the luffy taro to get rid of him instead of the zoro. He put so much pressure and you used so much to try and get rid of him and couldn't after that.
Hiya! tracks in order are: Dragon roost island Lake Floria Windfall island Ancient cistern Earth temple (skyward sword) Lanayru harbour Lanayru sand sea (sailing) Hidden village (twilight princess) Lurelin village (night) (breath of the wild) Faron woods (twilight princess) Malo mart castle town branch Faron woods (skyward sword) Ocean (sailing) (wind waker) Forest haven (outside) (wind waker) Forest haven (inside) (wind waker) Fi’s farewell
Doc q: only 2 turns I had don open for red hawk was right at the start when he didn’t attack and right at the end when I have no reason to give him cards
Law: probably should have lol. Been playing against a bunch of B/P Luffy lately where it’s best to not kill the law so they can’t resummon it with Moria. Small oversight luckily didn’t matter though
Guess Even if 15-1 it just pray for Heart of cards always to highroll without Uta. U cant digg into ur Deck really. There should be at least 3 Uta search
Another problem is that the deck is too bricked up, it has an excess of 2ks and events, which results in what we saw, hands that are packed with 2ks, but nothing playable (hence the final game against pluffy). I understand the usage of Ace on the deck, but it is only effective against black decks (and not even all of them, blackbeard can just shut it off with an event), against everything else it is just a body that will stand there menacingly, will be turned sideways (sometimes against your will) and will be killed off on the following turn. I built a trimmed up version, with Utas, with no aces, with no red hawk, had some more yasopps and 2 K.O shanks (10c that K.O 10k or less) and i have been cooking doffys left and right and even against Enel I could shut down it´s bosses before they could even swing. That deck made 15-1 for a reason, I know, but I detest running that Ace, I am much more of a fan of having Marcos and some building snakes for early removals (and deppending on what happens, end game removas as well with building and rayleigh)
Im Doing 1 12k shanks with 10k ko. Testing a mix of Marco 2 of, whitebeard 2 of and 3 Aces, due to the fact our local Runs some lucci morias Leaders and for Mirror just a Stocks Body for white Swings. 3 Redhawks and 3/3 Dragon/ray. Only 12 2ks and 3/3 yassopp lucky rou. Even if doffy playing jinbei law comb it feels better instead of evil or boa Blocker as 2nd card. 2 b snakes and 3 Rush 10c shanks and one Roger also 3 utas. I Cutted down the ray Blockers since i want to Control the Board i don’t have the time to use them. Also it’s to easy to Remove them with one Giant Blade or into lucci easy removal Tools.
@ List I am running is pretty much: 4 Otamas 3 Marco 2 K.O shanks 2 Dragon 3 Rayleigh 4 Utas 4 12k Rush Shanks 2 Blocker Rayleigh 2 Building snake 4 Beckmann 4 Hongo 3 Yassop 4 Lime Juice 4 Lucky 2 7c Newgate 3 Bad manners It is doing really well, does play well on curve, bosses usually end up in my hand and it has enough response for most problematic decks in my locals such as doffy, bonney, pluffy and Blackbeard (this one being more annoying to deal with). All cards can play well, Marco is pretty much a wildcard on that list that could become more dragons, or Rayleigh, or some other card, but it feels good to handle some searchers and deppeding on the setup with Hongo or Building snake, it can remove some annoying bodies when it lands on curve. Right now I am wondering if I would put maybe 1 more building snake, not sure, 2 of them seem to be a good number but maybe 1 less Uta and 1 more of it, it´s less counters but makes it easier to find and play it when it matters, but overall the list seems balanced and hardly I enter a scenario where I brick catastrophically (although it happened a couple times where every single high end character came to hand too early and I was left with pure leader swings for 2 or 3 turns).
Think the mentality is > shanks is a 50/50 deck > with the right techs you can make any matchup better > rather “just draw” the techs than hoping your opponent doesn’t high roll, even if it’s less consistent overall.
I've been testing out this list as well and tbh feels better than the uta list. Problem with uta is you often whiff your Roger, Rayleigh, dragon and can only really search for and play beckman in the same turn. Although you can drop the red hair pirates to 3, you then need to up your top end non red haired pirates to make up for it. It's a lot less consistent if you're running less than 4 Rayleigh and 3 dragon/white beard because of how often you whiff. Roger is also essentially non existent at 1 in an uta list.
